Hello, My name is Fiona. I am a teacher of English and French. I have trained as a secondary level teacher and also have a TEFL certificate in teaching English to foreigners. Can I ask where your friend is from and what age range they are in to give me an idea of what they might need. I have given a lot of private tuition over the past 15 years both English and French to all ages, secondary school and adults and I really enjoy it. I am very patient and friendly and know that language learning can be hard. I recently tried to learn Brazilian Portuguese and I remembered how frustrating it can be! My rate would normally be ?20-?25 per hour but I could be more flexible according to their budget as it is a longer term commitment. I have plenty of books and teaching materials. Normally I have a first meeting for free with people just to have a chat and see what areas they want to work on.
