  1. Beverley from Dillon&Beth completely understood what we were looking for with our loft extension bedroom and bathroom. She was really quick to respond to our initial enquiry and was friendly and very approachable throughout. She made what was, at times, a challenging process really enjoyable and run smooth and was really accommodating to our often changing requests! Beverley managed our budget well and created two wonderful rooms which we absolutely love. She cleverly combined a really beautiful high-end looking vanity unit with other more cost-effective pieces in the bathroom to keep within the budget. Would thoroughly recommend.
  2. I've always given mine away on this forum - loads of gardeners out there use it!
  3. Hi all, Last year the Rosendale Christmas Market saw a bustling and busy evening filled with fantastic shopping (everything from jewellery to toys to home made chutney) accompanied by mince pies and mulled wine. The market gave parents and friends of Rosendale a chance to sell their wares. So we are planning the same again this year. The Market will be on Friday 5th December from 7-9pm. And the stalls are just ?10 as we are only looking to cover our costs. So if you, or if anyone you know, are interested in having a stall please email the PTA at [email protected] by this Friday (21st Nov). Also, please put the date in your diary to come along and shop!!!! We look forward to hearing from you. The Rosendale PTA
  4. Hello Rosendale Primary School is holding a Christmas Market on Friday 5th December from 7-9pm. It's only ?10 per stall (max 2 tables). If you'd like to book a stall please email [email protected] Be great to have you there. Thanks
  5. west Dulwich definitely - get in the catchment for Rosendale primary school and then you'll be near Herne Hill too which is fab and family friendly. Not sure why people keep saying transport is rubbish - its not at all! W Dulwich goes to Victoria and St Pancras during morning rush hour, and obviously Brixton for the tube and herne hill also goes to City thameslink etc Easy walk through the park to Brixton Tube (or number 3 bus) and then you have the brilliant Brixton market with loads of great restaurants. Also its smack bang in the middle of 3 parks - Dulwich, brockwell and Belair. Also have the lido in brockwell park. Rosendale pub is great - good food and great for children.
  6. Tony has just completed a very small job for me ? bit of fencing and revamping the side section of our back garden. As many other forum users have commented, I found him to be efficient and polite with great attention to detail. He?s also going to do our tiny front garden in December! Here are Tony Pooley?s details: [email protected] 07931549144
  7. Looking for someone with experience of rebuilding part of the front outdoor windowsill on the first floor. When it was being repainted it started to crumble and now around 1/3 has fallen off. Its on the first floor and above the front door so need someone who has done this before because don't want it falling off onto our heads!! House is in West Dulwich Thanks Liz
  8. argh this is in the wrong place - how do I move!?
  9. I'd like to put forward another recommendation for landscape gardener Tony Pooley. He's just completely re-vamped our back garden and it looks fantastic. He listened carefully to what we wanted and how we used the garden and suggested some brilliant ideas. He accommodated some last minute changes we wanted and still came in on budget. The team who worked with him were also great- they were prompt, polite and very tidy considering they had to bring tons of sand/cement/decking etc through the house. They put down dust sheets and boards and then hoovered every evening before they went home. We are so pleased with his work that we're getting him back to do our front garden! If you want to get in touch with him his details are: Phone - 07931549144 mail - [email protected] Thanks Liz
  10. Just want to add another recommendation for Al. He did a fab job putting in a concrete base for my bike shed and fitting together a VERY complicated heavy metal shed. All done on time and on budget. It was also a job that other handymen would not do for me so very pleased with the job he did! Thanks Liz
  11. Hello Hope someone can help- have been trying in vain to find someone to lay a small concrete base for me so I can bolt a bike shed to the ground. Any recommendations or thoughts much appreciated!! Thanks Liz
