  1. I run SE22 and I do ask them to do back checks if someone who usually gets the mag says they haven't received. Sorry if this has caused a problem but I do appreciate when people can confirm they got it. If you have any issues please feel free to email at [email protected]
  2. The distribution started out from Crystal Palace Road (where I live) and includes roads that are linked together. Then it makes sense from a distribution angle to keep roads together rather than dotted around the area. Thank you TonyQuinn for your kinds words. Re Surma, I guess they are proud of being voted the best Indian by the Forum, even if it was a while back. I guess it is their right to keep the photo (albeit a very bad one of me!) in their window as long as they like. Perhaps if the Forum does a new vote, it might get changed.
  3. SE22 is distributed to 5,000 homes and businesses in the area, so unfortunately not everyone gets a copy. It goes out at the beginning of the month, so you have to be quick to pick up a copy in the various shops and bars. I try to restock the library a couple of times within the month. For those who don't receive but would like to flick through, you can read online at www.semagazines.co.uk If anyone would like to check whether there road should get it, please do e-mail me at [email protected]. Distribution is carried out by a reliable company but it is not always 100% perfect. Therefore I very much appreciate feedback from those who regularly receive but have had any problems. The roads mentioned above (Melford, The Gardens, Altima Court, Upland, Lordship Lane Estate, East Dulwich Grove) unfortunately are not on the distribution map. It is a shame that some people feel the need to make accusations about me taking advertising but not delivering the magazine. There is no way I could still be in business after five years if I did that. So if anyone is unsure about whether they should get it or not, please do not hesitate to contact me, the owner of the business!
  4. Some keys were handed in at the Festival Fair on Sunday. No one claimed them on the day, so if anyone is missing their car keys (Honda)perhaps they can PM me and collect, I live in SE22.
  5. The problem with our beer tent was a licensing issue. EDT have provided the beer tent for the past three years and will do so again. I did announce a week or so ago that we didn't get our licence and to bring your own booze. Also EDT supplied drinks in plastic glasses so you could bring them over. Not ideal, but the best we could do in the circumstances. I appreciate the comments re the stage positioning and will bear that in mind for next year. All in all I think it went well and it is great to have such positive comments about a great event in East Dulwich. ps. the litter should have been collected now, so I am going to check for myself!
  6. Thank you for your positive feedback on the Fair, it is great to hear. Please note that the litter will be collected today, unfortunately the people paid to do this job, didn't stay around long enough to tidy up after the stalls were collected. They will definitely be back today to finish the job. There were 10 extra bins provided during the day which were taken at 4pm. In hindsight they should have come a little later on as many people stayed on because the weather was so lovely. Thank you to of you who turned up and made it a great day.   7. SE22 is delivered to some parts of Upland Road but not the whole road. If you used to get it but now don't, please let me know what number you are at and I will confirm if you are on the distribution list. Unfortunately I am unable to deliver to all of SE22, however as wee quinnie points out you can collect a copy at the library and also at various shops and bars in East Dulwich. Just e-mail [email protected] if you want to check if you should be getting a copy. I appreciate knowing if there are any problems with delivery so I can try to rectify them. Cheers Angela

  10. As always you can't please everybody all of the time. Anyone who has any bright ideas for next year and is willing to volunteer to help make them happen should get in touch. I ran the event as a volunteer without any funding so there is a limit to what one person can produce on the day. So if you are willing to give up some of your free time and help, do get in touch.   11. Yes Chilli Pepper Pete was there. Thank you to everyone who came yesterday and made it a great day. There was a lovely atmosphere which down to the great people of East Dulwich turing out in their hundreds! Angela Organiser
