  1. My 14 month old loves the rhyme times at the libraries. We think the best one is at forest hill library as they do stories and accompany singing with guitar. However Dulwich library has Props for their songs. Grove vale library has some musical instruments and is a smaller group generally. On Thursdays Dulwich library has child sessions: they put out toys and craft activities, finishing with singing - suitable for babies up to pre-school. My daughter loves these sessions.

If you have a car then Sydenham high junior school has a great Tuesday morning stay and play session from 9:30 with lovely toys in great condition and you get to go in the playground too.

She's recently got into the toddler time cinema sessions at the picture house on Tuesday mornings too.

There is a nice music group on Monday afternoons at the Herne tavern called frog prince music. Would recommend it as it is run by lovely man with gsoh.

There's always whippersnappers too at the lodge in Dulwich park on Thursday mornings which is popular too.

Edtots website has lots of listings too.

  2. Updated response from Southern :

    Dear Ms

I write further to my acknowledgement of the 6 July 2015. Please accept my apologies for the delay in my response.

The rat issue at East Dulwich is one that the local Southern managers are aware of. However, whilst our staff will ensure, going forward, that discarded food is removed from the station as regularly as possible, it is Network Rail?s responsibility to address this problem. The local managers contacted Network Rail by both email and phone regarding the issue and sadly there has been a communication breakdown between us and them, with Network Rail being unable to trace these emails or calls. Nonetheless, they have acknowledged the matter and provided us with a reference number of 15014/000180. The local Customer Experience Manager will continue to chase Network Rail every 2-3 days until someone attends East Dulwich on their behalf to address the problem, as until they do, it will continue to get worse.

Your feedback is nonetheless much appreciated. However, if the issue continues then I would kindly suggest that you contact Network Rail directly, with the aforementioned reference number, although we hope that they shall respond to our request in a timely manner.

    Yours sincerely

  3. I received this reply from Southern:

Thank you for your recent email concerning large rats at East Dulwich station, as observed on the 25 June 2015.

I am very sorry you have noticed vermin at East Dulwich. We do take the health and safety of our customers extremely seriously so I have raised this with the Station Group Manager for investigation. Please be aware that a full investigation may take some time so I thank you in advance for your patience. Once our investigation is complete. I shall be in touch with you again.

  4. Hi

I am going away in August and need to find someone who can come round and feed my 4 rabbits on a daily basis, checking they are ok and also cleaning them out as needed. I am on Crystal Palace Road. If anyone is experienced or knows someone to recommend, please do let me know! It's for a ten day period.

    Thanks

  5. We ate there last week and really enjoyed it. Only one criticism: the portions were nowhere near big enough. We are both averagely sized with average appetites but we both came away with the idea that it's great as long as you eat before you go.
