  1. Thanks for your post, still trying to get accepted by nunhead rocks so haven't been able to check tho I think the same person posted on next door, unfortunately post has been removed
  2. Bumping this up, been putting up posters and spreading the message hoping we can bring Mabel home soon
  3. Mabel has now been found thanks to a poster, a little skinny but otherwise fine. Just want to say a big thanks to everyone who reached out to say they'd spotted her, it gave us hope that we'd be reunited soon. She is enjoying lots of treats and cuddles and slowly getting used to her kitten Monty again. Further update to say Mabel is still missing, it's been over 4 weeks now and we're still hoping we'll find her soon. Some further details... she is still growing out a shaved patch on her left side, has a little bit of a pot belly and a weird croaky miaow. I know a lot of torties can look very similar but I think she has a distinctive ginger flash around her left eye... Hi, our rescue cat Mabel escaped through the front door last night, she is a petite tortie/brindle, chipped, no collar, adopted from Celia Hammond in May so hasn't been allowed out yet (thought she's a former stray and hopefully quite streetwise). She will be missing her kitten Monty and he's desperate to be reunited with her. She can be very friendly and loves a head scratch. Please keep an eye out for her around the vicinity of Pellatt Road, check sheds etc, she also likes to be in high places so hoping she's not up a tree somewhere! I have been out for a search this morning and have scattered cat litter near our front door, but if anyone has any other tips to help bring her home please let me know.
  4. he's settling back in nicely. Very relieved to have him back, and he's been well looked after on his little break!
  5. the chat bit sounds right, he's always giving a running commentary, always thought he was on the large side though, at least compared with his brother. Think he's been scared off his patch by a monstrous tabby who keeps coming round of an evening, cat equivalent of a pit bull, scared the bejesus out of him indoors! If you see him again toss him a scrap of food and chuck him in the right direction, we're on the lower block of pellatt/silvester closest to lordship lane, thanks
  6. ooops, photo was too big , trying to reattach. Hope the poster's not misleading, my boyfriend, typical journalist, edited it and took the colour description out, he's not very good with facts!
  7. Hi, I'm Murphy's mum, and he still hasn't come back yet (obviously can't read the posters!), he's mostly black with a white belly and legs, not quite a year old but quite a big lad so might look older, he went missing on Thursday night from Pellatt road, and he's not the brightest so might well have a problem getting home! I'll try and attach a photo so you can check, here's hoping it's him! He doesn't have a collar but he is microchipped, not sure how effective this is though.
