DMC Chadwick Road have been good for me lately. They haven't always been great - went downhill a couple of years back - but very decent and responsive recently. 11am to 1pm parking restricted, I think. I'd recommend based on current experience.

I don't waste money on expensive dog poo scooper bags, I just use old crisp packets. I turn them inside out before placing my hand inside and grasping the dog dirt, then turn the bag the right way round, twist the top, take it home and dispose of it in the bin. This little ruse has saved me a fortune over the years, even though I haven't got a dog. -

Without hearing the noise you're describing, it's difficult to diagnose. We had water hammer in two of our homes over the years. Noisy and a little disconcerting due to the volume in some rooms. If the same ailment applies to the condition of your plumbing then the problem might worsen (eg. increased noise, leaks) so I suggest calling someone in to check soon. There might be a simple remedy. I don't think it's to do with Thames Water.
