  1. Barney and his guys cleaned out my filthy, dirty ,leaking double garage this weekend ,it was a task others had turned down or given silly quotes for ,It was 3 luton vans full of crap and trips the tip,it took a day and a half to clear and they left it spotless. Amazing job. Many thanks . Barney Rubble 07541 132087
  2. Andrew did me a quote based on emailed photos we agreed on it and a date and time , he and Dave turned up early ( a first ) plastered two walls to a very high standard cleaned up and were gone in under 4 hours .The walls have dried beautifully and have just been painted without any problems.Payment was by bank transfer rather than cash and the whole experience was indeed top notch. Many thanks .Mark.
  3. Forget politics - I have terminal cancer , I have been treated by the NHS since 2007 when the fabulous surgeons at The Royal Marsden Hospital removed a 4 kg tumour.Sadly it came back 2 years ago and now I am on palliative chemotherapy ,my treatment could not have been better and that's all I have to say .If you have an ingrowing toe nail and feel a bit underwhelmed by your treatment then thats tough, get over it OR GO PRIVATE ! For 9 months I was on a trial drug that cost ?190 / day to the NHS and it didn't cost me a penny, had I had private health insurance it would have only covered me for 3 months on this drug hence I may not have been around to type this !
  4. Underhill and lordship still out @ 00.26
  5. Just had the Paint Girls around to decorate my Dining Room and what a very pleasant experience it was.Great attention was paid to dust management and they even helped me re-instate everything once the job was finished.A big thank you to Simone and Thea.

  10. After a period of illness which kept me housebound for a week or so imagine my surprise when my trip to Lordship lane this lunchtime was completely devoid of any evidence of moral or social decline. Where were the drunken cock swingers? hordes of rats? cars without wing mirrors ? feral cats with eyes hanging out ?hooded youths knocking on doors ? jars of toxic orange liquid filling the streets etc etc etc. I wonder if any other readers have been fooled by the thin veneer of normality that cloaks this moribund cesspool of humanity ? Just a thought.
  11. I agree ,on the last tube strike day Vauxhall was like hell on earth .
  12. I'm just back from a weekend away and my sky box says power cut at 1.20 am Sunday morning can anyone tell me how long this lasted please as now everything is back up to speed -thinking about how long the freezer was off etc thanks,I'm near the junction of Melford and Underhill. Mark.
  13. Matthew and his team have just decorated my dilapidated hallway and toilet to a very high standard given the state it was in when they started , trustworthy ,hardworking and polite ,I will definitely have them back in future to finish the rest of the house when its time. - Many thanks to Matt and his guys.
