  1. Is it still definitely running? I emailed the organisers a while back but never received a reply, and haven't heard it mentioned over the last few months.... I know there have been quite a few threads recently with regards classes and activities for babies and toddlers in the area but I am still seriously struggling to fill our time (I have a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old). We have done most of the classes at some time or another but the 2.5 year old doesn't seem to enjoy them anymore and most of them are only 30 - 45 minutes long which just isn't enough! I tried to attend the Goose Green playgroup this morning. I arrived at 10.05am to find that it was full - spoke to the organiser and she said that people queue from 9am (?!) to get in. I'm not sure I can queue for an hour with a screaming toddler and baby every week?! It's so frustrating! All my NCT friends have gone back to work and it's just so hard to meet people! Moan/rant over!
  2. Hi there We're selling our P&T Dash - only bought last year and only used a few times - so plesae do message me if you decide to go ahead and buy one!
  3. Fidgetsmum definitely don't buy a P&T if your daughter is tall as chances are your next one will be as well. My 11 week old baby is long for his age and has been far too long for the newborn bit of the P&T pretty much since birth - it's so annoying. My first son who's nearly 2 isn't tall for his age and he's already getting too big for the toddler seat too - he can't sleep in it when it's in the recline position as his head is slammed at an angle. I phoned P&T for advice on both issues, their response was that "they could only design buggies for the average length child" and that the toddler seat in the newborn set up "wasn't designed to reclined beyond the age of 1 year". How many of their customers have a newborn and a toddler (baby) under the age of 1?! Grr. I bought the P&T as everyone seems to have them so thought they must be a good bet?!
  4. Fidgetsmum I was in your exact position a couple of months back and I totally totally understand your nervousness - have PMed you.
  5. The baby's head is definitely up by the handlebars!! It's this bit that hangs lower for me... Soup Dragon have been great and have requested that P&T change it so we'll see what the brings. Just so annoying as my son doesn't like the sling yet...if you see someone walking down Lordship Lane moving their crying baby from buggy to sling to buggy that'll be me!
  6. I have recently bought a P&T Dash for our 23 month old and 9 week old, and am having a few issues with it. Every other buggy in ED seems to be a P&T and so am wondering if this is just me... Firstly our 9 week old son is already too long for the cocoon? Secondly when laid out in the newborn bit without the cocoon his head is a lot lower than the rest of his body (so much so that I'm actually concerned he's going to fall out backwards when I go up a curb or step!)? Thirdly the toddler seat at the front isn't very tall when in the recline position - our 23 month old's head is slammed against the bar at the top and bent right over to the side? Anyone else experienced any of this??!
  7. Seriously SERIOUSLY annoying woman. What about the women who can't breastfeed for medical or any other reasons?!! Urgh what an ignorant comment. Swimwear modelling 6 weeks later - suppose that should be compulsory too?!
  8. I've been wondering this too... Tin Pan Annie have some summer classes but I think in Clapham. Monkey Music normally do a holiday class or two as well? Tumble Tots only (?!) stops for the month of August.
  9. 1603 fron LDb to ED was fine but seems to be getting worse all the time. traffic along east dul grove at standstill towards PR.
  10. got a reply from southern- seems like they pay some attention to passenger feedback... Thank you for your enquiry regarding the 0651 departure from East Dulwich to London Bridge on weekdays. This service came in with the new timetable introduced on 17 May 2009, so its first day of operation would have been Monday 18 May 2009. It is the 0630 Selhurst to London Bridge service, intended to alleviate overcrowding on trains on this route in morning peak time. I hope you find it useful, and will of course be glad to hear of any comments or suggestions you may have to make regarding this or any other aspect of Southern services. Regards
  11. i've asked southern but i think their timetable may have changed on the 17th may the 24minute wait was indeed too long, there is always a dilemma about up to which time is it beneficial to catch the bus
  12. how long is ages ? i am on th e0639 or 0703 every weekday so cannot belive i have missed it
  13. Got it this morning.. when did it come into existence ? Its very handy
