  1. Get ready for the 14th Peckham & Nunhead Free Film Festival. Lots of great local venues. Lots of great films. And all for FREE 😀
  2. Bring your fav vinyl tracks along to the Ivy House SE15 on Sun 27th Aug '23 6-10.30 and take-over the decks. It's a summer BYOV, so think all things summery. Kool and the Gang - Summer Madness, Style Council - Long Hot Summer, Bobby Hebb - Sunny... The more chilled or upbeat the better. See you there 😀
  3. They did a 'consultation' last night, but it was anything but a 'consultation'. It was to tell us they are going ahead whether the majority of residents in Nunhead like it or not. Now what do we do? East Dulwich obviously successfully challenged the cpz proposal in the Lordship Lane area. Can anyone from this campaign help us?
  4. I live in Nunhead and am not happy that the council are proposing cpz in the area. Any ideas how to challenge this?
  5. Any info on how to challenge controlled parking proposal in Nunhead?
  6. I reported a mess (food, cleaning liquids, metal poles, cleaning clothes, etc - see attachment) on the path outside a house on Stuart Rd being to the letting agents Dexters twice today. On both occasions I was told their management team were looking into it but nothing was done to clear up the mess. Surely you would think if Dexters had any sense of commitment to the community they are working in they would have had someone come out from their local office with a bin liner and dealt with the mess immediately???
  7. As part of this year's wonderful Peckeham & Nunhead Free Film Festival (www.freefilmfestivals.org), we're putting on a Bring Your Own Super 8 night, at THE GOLDEN ANCHOR, EVELINA RD, SE15 2DX, on WEDS 11 SEPT, 7.30 to start at 8pm. It's a not-be-missed chance to remember the glorious colour, the whirr of the projector and those unforgettable memories.
  8. Bring Your Own Vinyl night at the Ivy House, Stuart Road, SE15, 6-11pm. If you've got some vinyl you would love to play, then come along. You don't just get 3 or 7 records like other venues. If you bring along your records, the decks are yours for 30-45 mins. Fireworks themed tracks much appreciated.
  9. If you've got some vinyl you would love to play, please come along to the Ivy House, Stuart Road, SE15, this Sunday, 5 November, 6-11pm. You don't just get 3 or 7 records like other 'vinyl nights'. The decks are yours for 30-45 mins!! Firework themed records particularly apt for the evening.
  10. Do pick-up a 45 record, or bring along a cherished music memory, and come along to the following: Mr Klive, former drinker in residence and faux osteopath, joins BYOV frontrunner, Kip, for 'Revolutionary Records'; bring up to 3 significant, life-changing 45/other vinyl (oh go on then the name of a song and we'll look it up on youtube!) to show, play and tell. Warning: will have graphite content. 1-6pm Saturday 23rd September, The Ivy House, 40 Stuart Road, SE15 3BE
  11. For all vinyl lovers! There's another great BYOV Night coming up at the Ivy House, Nunhead, Stuart Rd, SE15. It's Sun 02 Jul, 5.30-10.30pm. There are 30 mins slots up for grabs. Do come along - and bring your records.
  12. The BYOV Night at the Ivy House, Stuart Road, Nunhead (not E Dulwich, but near enough), on the first Sunday on every month, goes from strength to strength. Next up is Sun 4th June, 5.30 - 11.00pm. Pls do come along if you have some records you would like to give a spin. Slots of 30 mins are on offer. Best wishes, Andy
  13. Can anyone recommend any used car showrooms in the area/SE London? Thanks, Andy
  14. Love records? Albums? Singles? Got some great tunes? Wanna share them? Fancy a DJ slot? Free on Sun 5th March, 5.30pm? Know the Ivy House, SE15 3BE? If that's "yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes and yes". Then, get along to the bring your own vinyl night. Choose music. Choose life.
