  8. Unique community screening in Peckham of an extraordinary and startling film STILL THE ENEMY WITHIN Sheffield DocFest Audience Award Winner "A documentary as gripping as a thriller" Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian "I can't express enough my admiration for Owen Gower's remarkable film. It moved and inspired me. Everyone - not only in Britain - should see this superb film." Strike. No experts. No politicians. Thirty years on, this is the raw first-hand experience of those who lived through Britain?s longest strike. Follow the highs and lows of that life-changing year. The screening has been organised by members of Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners (the real activists portrayed in the hit film ?Pride?!) in association with Southwark Trades Council. The organisers say: ?We support everyone fighting against cuts and for decent, affordable homes. This event will be a chance to find out about local campaigns and learn lessons for fighting the Tories from one of the greatest-ever struggles in history. Speakers include a firefighter, an NHS worker and a Defend Council Housing campaigner. Please come, bring your workmates, family and friends from Uni, college and school. This is a unique chance to see an outstanding historical documentary alongside local community and political activists in our local independent cinema. We look forward to meeting everyone there!? http://bit.ly/1xIPvCS
  9. I have a garage space and would like to share it with someone. I am an artist and use the garage for storing my artwork in plastic crates. However, I only use about a third of the space and don't have time to visit the garage to check its ok more than about once a week. I live about 10 mins walk from the garage, which is near the top of Rye Lane, off Heaton Road. So I would like to team up with someone who would be going in and out of the garage at least 3 days a week. Perhaps a gardener or delivery person. I am not seeking to make any money, I just want a friendly, reliable, responsible spacemate who is willing to keep an eye on things and keep in touch. PM me if you would like to discuss! Nicola
