John recommended the Penge branch of Howdens, and the whole process from planning to fitting was straightforward and as stressfree as possible. John is friendly and honest, and dealt with some last minute changes that I made to the plans with no fuss. Gabi is also great at communicating and responding quickly to questions. I?m very pleased with the outcome of the kitchen fitting and wouldn?t hesitate to recommend John.

Another recommendation for Elliot! He's just finished installing fitted wardrobes and floating shelves in my house, and I'm really pleased with the result. As well as a great finished product, he is also punctual, tidy, very good at communicating, and a very nice guy. Would definitely use him for any carpentry jobs I might have in future.

I'm looking for a good, reliable handyman for the following tasks: - Replacement of water-damaged floorboards (area approx 1.5m x 0.5m.) Help/advice on sourcing similar floorboards to those already in place also required; - Repainting (and possibly replastering?) an area of water damaged wall. Any recommendations welcomed! Thanks

Paul(PJ)Newnham has just finished fitting a new bathroom in my house - I got his details from the forum and I can really recommend his work. It was quite a complicated job, which involved moving a wall and shifting the position of the bath, but PJ made it all quite stressfree, and I'm very pleased with the result. Steve has just finished turning my garden from an unloved mess of gravel and broken paving stones into a neat and tidy garden. He worked really hard, and had some good ideas for the garden too. Also a very nice guy to work with - would highly recommend him.
