  1. Dear Lilyrose, I'm really excited about your shop and think it's a great idea. Do you have any border collie antiques?
  2. I thought Jay the Manager was brilliant. He knew his stuff, and was very helpful and had a great sense of humour . I also think Tony the owner is a great chap. I was there when it first opened and think it's a huge shame that it's closed. I wish Jay and Tony all the best for the future.
  3. I imagine it might be Richmond Park or Wimbledon Common perhaps?
  4. This is such bad news I have lived and worked in East Dulwich since 1991. I think the shop is fantastic and ED is losing a great service. It's shocking and disgusting how you have been treated Chris. All the best to you and your family.
  5. I agree with what was said about the Manager of the small St Christopher's shop. She practically lives there from what I can see! She is devoted to that shop and it seems to be a huge success because of her. There is also a rather charming elderly gent who sometimes works there on Fridays , he seems to know loads about art and antiquities and is always very helpful! Don and Ellen at the big shop are also excellent!
  6. Also, there is the Gardens Doctors' Surgery in case you need to register with a GP. I would recommend Dr Rebecca Stephens who is an excellent GP
  7. I can recommend GMs on Melbourne Grove. Fantastic service and really amazing environment. It has the 'feel' of a Central London hairdressers, but in ED. Myra: one of the stylists creates the most awesome hair styles and 'up do's.
  8. As junior Doctors we used to have fun in A&E calling out names like would Peter Niss come to room 4 please. Mr P Niss to room 4 please. Same goes for Hugh Jarss. We were doing 20 hour shifts so had to get some laughs somewhere!
  9. great that's SO helpful NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. is anyone watching the current series of LOST? Please please can you explain the plot and what on earth is going on. Have even tried to Wiki it and still no answers. Answers/theories please... and i know already it's not a dream and that they are not dead!!!
  11. Must join in, love the food, the service great and the owner is lovely- BUT can be a bit slow...has anyone tried the cafe next door to the shoe shop on LL? Delicious food and quick service, the all day breakfast delicious. Failing that i go to mon petot chou 3-4 times/week for yummy panini's...
  12. Bumped into the owner today whom i know quite well. He stated it was simply being refurbished and would be open again in 3 months. Hurrah!
  13. will definately try it out. Love your stall on Northcross market. hope it works out in that location though......
  14. I remember it of old, the guy who owned it was very sweet, and used to give me 10% off bill since i helped him out when a customer fainted once. I am sad to see it go. the food was tasty and cheap.
