A very decent sandwich can be enjoyed in the new cafe that has opened up opposite the Plough in what was I think the old electrics shop. It is part owned by the people that run Gastronomia (West Dulwich/Herne Hill). Coffee is also very good, and they have a tiny wee garden to enjoy this lovely sun as well. Shall become my new haunt when I'm too lazy to walk down the hill to Jacks which is still the best - i have to have their chicken liver pate at least once a week or I get withdrawal symptoms.

I for one will be giving Northern Rock a call.....just a thought, surely the safest place to stick your filthy lucre at the moment.
