  1. Hi! I run a book club in Forest Hill and we’re always looking for new members to join. We meet monthly at the Honor Oak Pub in Brockley Rise. There’s a good mix of all sorts of people and we read everything from fiction to biography and everything in between. No one takes it (or ourselves) too seriously and all are welcome. Our next book is A Passage North by Anuk Arudpragasam and we'll be meeting on 15 February @ 7:30pm. We also have a group WhatsApp - DM for details; and we have a Twitter feed here: Drop me a message for more info. Thanks, Natalie
  2. I have been to King's twice: once to A&E and once to see a consultant. The hospital and staff were excellent both times and I genuinely can't speak highly enough of them. Amazing to have it on our doorstep!
  3. Does anyone have any advice or experience of buying over commercial premises? We're aware of the pitfalls in terms of change of use and any downturn in the market - but, prices have gone so crazy, it seems like our only option! Thanks in adance
  4. Can anyone recommend? Tried the Gardens and Townley road and neither are taking NHS patients....
  5. Hi Annie, my partner and I have been in Dulwich for about 6 months, we're amateur cooks at best but would definitely be up for having a go.... Natalie
  6. Many thanks folks, we are indeed just looking for general advice. Most of our friends live in ex-council blocks (albeit in Bethnal Green/Mile End), I guess we're looking to find out what kinds of blocks are best and if there are any specific developments that people would recommend.... thanks all
  7. Anyone have any advice or personal experience buying / living in ex-locals in East Dulwich, Forest Hill etc ?

We are looking at ex council blocks as we simply can't afford anything else! Any recommendations welcome!!!
  9. Just wondered if people had any recommendations, don't really want to use an agent but can't find any private lets!! Any of the East Dulwich agencies have reasonable fees? Cheers in advance!!
