Hi All, For a letting agent I would recommend Portmoor ( www.portmoor.co.uk ). The guy we dealt with had a RICS degree etc and was much more knowledgeable and helpful than others I have dealt with in the past. For the letting part they all seem quite similar but the property management is where you need to be careful and make sure you have got someone who knows what they are doing. I don't know about sales but I guess it matters less as you are not leaving them to look after your property just to find someone. Could just negotiate hard on fee and go multiagency.

I think it sums us up ? we are ?the most charming corner of London.? Would definitely recommend it. Denmark hill is a bit of a mini Dulwich in my oppinion. There are really good pubs (but not as many). There is quite a lot of wealth (in roads behind the station). The big difference is that the transport is better in Denmark Hill but is is slightly more dangerous being just south of Camberwell (but very much the best end as near Camberwell Green which is not too bad). I would definitely say don't worry too much on the crime stats (prob worse as they lump the whole of SE5 together and Denmark Hill much safer than the north of SE5)
