Agreed, Peter is great

Peter has just finished tiling our bathroom floor, and repairing tiles damaged on the walls. Despite the floor tiles being particularly tricky (and not what I explained when booking him!) and him having to deal wiht a bad job on the floor from old builders, he managed to sort it all out. The room is beautiful now. He took really great care of our house, was on time, good to have around, well priced. Highly recommend.

Peckham Pulse has a small hydrotherapy pool which is warmer than normal, and they have family swim there on the weekend.

Posting here again on recommendation of another forum member. Many of the coat drives end in November. We have a few warm, waterproof adult coats to give away and missed the window. Does anyone know of companies / individuals distributing coats still this winter?

Agreed in general, but there can be some cases where there is suddenly a problem. For example, new damage to drains, that cause more water in the ground and therefore cracks and problems.

I have used resources in this thread to investigate cracks, and have another recommendation to add. Robert Walton-Sharp visited the property, carried out a full survey, made recommendations. It was extremely helpful. He is a structural engineer, so better versed in the specifics of this than a building surveyor, and his prices were reasonable - the lower end of the quotes I got from structural engineers (and the same as some building surveyors). My washing machine broke, it's the worst possible timing as I'm 9 months pregnant. Eek! Steve is great in an emergency and came out to look at it immediately on his return from his holiday. As always - on time, lovely to deal with, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Steve
