We have a 2 & 4 year old in Herne Hill and will soon be in need of a part-time nanny to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We're after a lovely, warm person who's kind, firm, responsible, helpful, a self-starter who genuinely loves children. Speaking Spanish fluently would be a bonus for any candidates, but essential is a willingness to pro-actively plan age-appropriate playdates and activities for our boys.

Interior design's not my strong suit. So, after living with bare bulbs and magnolia paint on the walls for far too long, we finally had a few designers out to have a look and decided to employ Evey at Hands On Design. She's great. From my first meeting with Evey, she offered insights and good value. She picked up on what to do based on a limited debrief and photos of other interiors I like and then prescribed a scheme which suited our space and limited budget. Sadly, our original stained glass entrance was either removed or broken and replaced with safety glass. We've figured out the original design and would like to commission someone to rebuild it. Has anyone dealt with a company they'd recommend for building and installing stained glass panels to fit an original Edwardian design? Thanks so much for any advice.

We live in an old row house in Herne Hill and have noticed gaps in the stone masonry around the windows in need of repair. Honestly, they also need to be sanded back/scraped to remove the old paint and then repainted, as well. Has anyone hired someone they'd recommend for the job? Recommendations from other homeowners preferred rather than direct contact from masons/craftsmen. Thank you for any advice.
