What does that mean? the fact he has a Germanic name?
  3. Maybe quite a few people in a number of departments in the borough need a kick up the arse. The barriers that have been put up are inadequate as it is likely to fall into the road. It should be scaffolded immediately or half of the road closed off.
  4. Hi It was several months ago, it was only when i passed last week that i noticed it had markedly shifted outwards. I dont think new the barriers are sufficient as the panel will clearly fall onto the pavement and possibly into the road. it is shifting on a daily basis and i think it could come down at any time. Best Mick
  5. slightly worrying though as the panel above the bay will clearly fall outwards and will most likely land on the pavement.
  6. If you think its a danger, notify Southwark Building Control, it is there duty to at least assess it and take action if necessary

Great, thanks for that, also learned a new trick on the forum today, thanks for that too!
  8. Hi I reported it as a dangerous structure, the council are empowered to either enforce action by the owner or take remedial action themselves and charge the owner: https://www.southwark.gov.uk/planning-and-building-control/building-control/dangerous-structures 'We have statutory duties to deal with dangerous structures under the London Local Authorities Act 2000 and the London Building Acts (Amendment) Act 1939, to ensure that all structures within the borough which are considered dangerous are made safe with the shortest possible delay.'
  9. Sorry, rubbish photos, heres a blown up set to show how precarious that brick panel is:
  10. Just a quick warning to maybe avoid walking past this house on CPR, i think it is no. 234 but im not sure, its between pellatt and rodwell. I notified Southwark some months ago, but it would appear not a lot has been done, it has got steadily worse and seems to be deteriorating by the day and looks like the bricks could fall onto the pavement any day now. I would cross the road!
  11. Just such a shame that the opportunity to put a quality architectural solution in a very prominent point on Lordship Lane is being spurned. Reminds me of the Harris Primary debacle.
  12. Allan from AGM Carpets is brilliant and v reasonable. 07956 556440
  13. Anyone else experiencing A power cut in Goodrich road area ?
  14. James Perhaps it would be an idea to move the platforms at Loughborough Junction so that an it can serve both lines therby increasing connectivity and reducing the pressure on, or replacing Denmark hill with a larger more accessible station. Would happily discuss our ideas with you in person if you would like. Mick
