Hi I bought (a very lightweight!) small wire unit from eBay this week - that's collection only from Hitchin.. Does anyone from ED area happen to be travelling that way and back in the next couple of weeks who I could pay to collect the item for me please? I will obviously send dimensions etc but it's something that can easily fit in a boot or onto a back seat.. Please PM me if so! Many thanks Sarah

Can anyone recommend a small skip hire (just for garden soil removal) or garden waste removal in Crystal Palace area that do not cost a fortune? We will need the waste taking away this weekend (Sunday)or early next week. Please PM me as I receive notifications of emails and don't check here as often. Thanks in advance!

We have floor tiles due to be fitted in our hall and kitchen next week. There is laminate flooring currently laid in both rooms and and our floorer said we could remove this ourselves to save money or he'll charge us his own fee. Wondering if anyone may be able to do this removal and disposal at a lower rate than he can!..?

Celeste Nelson (Hespera is her company name) is great and recently made some roman blinds and covered an Ercol chair cushion for us - highly recommend. https://www.facebook.com/CelesteMariaHespera/?hc_ref=SEARCH -
Has anyone had their existing kitchen/hall floor taken up and replaced with tiles? I'm looking at the potential for us to do the same but trying to suss out costs first! If anyone could recommend anyone reliable and efficient, it'd be appreciated. Thanks.

We need our windows cleaned before we move out of our house next month - can any recommend a window cleaner who covers Honor Oak Park, SE23? Thanks in advance

Can anyone recommend a decent and not outrageously expensive end-of-tenancy cleaner? Our landlady is a friend and the place doesn't need to look brand new but it'd be handy to have somebody to help do more than the average weekly clean on our house when we move out next month - with two small kids in tow too, could do without spending 5 hours cleaning the old place!.. It won't be needed until mid/end of September and we are in Honor Oak Park, SE23. Thanks in advance..

Posh paint with children on the loose!..

Thanks, I'm pretty set on LG now and they also do a version which is washable, win win! I'll save their chalky one for our bedroom only :) -
I'm just wondering, for a final canvas of opinion before I rule out totally - is Farrow & Ball (or in fact Little Greene paint as I can get a discount on it and heard it's on par with F&B finish) a total no-go on interior walls if you have two young children? I hear it's a nightmare to retouch? I'm in love with the chalky finish but hear I may have to sacrifice that for durability instead - ie, not F&B or Littlr Greene. Would love to know what anyone thinks?..Thanks!

Men with van removal recommendation
Sarahbeee replied to Sarahbeee's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Brilliant, thanks. It would be an entire house removal and we'd need two men too. -
Can anyone recommend any reliable and affordable men with a van to hire to help move house locally? Many thanks in advance

Hi We have bought a lovely Ercol dining table that has quite a large scratch. I'd like to speak to someone who may be able to help restore it or at least polish it to a less obvious state?! I believe the previous owner tried to polish it but used a mis-matched colour which has enhanced it. I have an image I can send. Many thanks Sarah
