Someone to lay some turf? How much do people reckon it'd cost?
pps replied to number 2's topic in Request a Tradesperson
you dont need a new lawn just replace the turfs that are really bad as money is tight if your wanted it done now to sit in the garden you wont be able to do that with a new lawn it is recommened you stay off it for six weeks you could also rake it patches and seed it making sure the ground is well wet before hand -

Can anyone recommend a garage to fix scratch/dent?
pps replied to RenF's topic in Request a Tradesperson
one problem with the guys that attend your home to repair dents and scratches is they dont laquer the whole panel after they have spray painted the repaired area so its only a matter of time before the laquer starts to peel . -

would cost alot more than a bodyshop yes it would be quicker as they do it there and there instead of 2/3 days at a bodyshop -

Handyman needed to put up garden fence panels x 2
pps replied to MarkEP's topic in Request a Tradesperson
oh your putting up a divider not a fence. i see now ,so 70`s lol i always use the screw cups too makes for a better looking job and also do the other side much more solid.why not buy bundles of battern and 2x2 posts costs you ?80 that way .and i measure the posts and then make up a spacer so i get an even space between all battens -

THATS NOT THE WAY TO FIT FENCINCING if you pm me i`ll tell you the correct way of which there are 2 ways with brackets and with out -
i have put a link to sites you will find them on .you need the corbels and brackets.the corbels are not load bearing as such more for decoration as you will see by the ones removed from your window seals, dont forget you need exterior ones and not plaster ones the plaster ones are for in doors
-
theres are loads of places online if you google ,make sure you google external corbels ,have a look https://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=&oq=external+corbels&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4NDKB_enGB562GB565&q=exterior+corbels+and+brackets+&gs_l=hp..1.0i10l3j0i22i30.0.0.0.9563...........0.2MwFZKETWTk

yes you can even install an air brick so all level with the brickwork .if it just for an extrarctor fan then nearly all of them dont need an external escape there all filtered .
-
my freind chose the kitchen he wanted and they fitted it the book contained theie whole range .yes i have fitted ikea kitchens and found them to be great valve and quality .wickes do lovely high gloss kitchens too
-
no wildgirl i never fitted it if i had it would still be perfect now . maybe right about poor fitting .it was my friends kitchen done under the decent homes scheme the council did a couple of years back ,the front came off 3 draws within 6 weeks .i fit kitchens for a living and have done lots in my time .
-
haahahaha am i reading this right ,someone does work for someone then rings them to ask them to post on here for them something aint right here .if he was as good as you have said you would of posted earlier and not have to be asked .
-
there rubbish i guess thats why the council use them the quaily is poor and always has been the draw front come off quicker than the basic b&q ones.
-
i would install the usaul wall mounted ones that are flush with wall .the fan in ceiling would still need a flue and there would still be the need to make hole in wall to fit vent.also at a later time when it may break down it is far easier to get to and repair or replace.and cheaper to install
-
the one star is probaly the garage nothing to do with the service they give ,they are good i have used them myself before .or there is tower scooters clockhouse as if you was going to beckenham.theres 2 on the old kent road as well

anyone remember murrys meat market in rye lane ,the burgers and sausages were the best you could get .
