We're thinking of visiting Ireland for the first time in April with 2 year old twins. Can anyone give recommendations for a good base location for day trips? Dublin isn't really an option as cities are too difficult with the twins. Anywhere with gorgeous scenery and interesting historical landmarks would be appreciated. We'll have a rental car. Thank you!

Right, zipcar probably isn't for you as they go by yearly membership. I joined through my union and that gives a great discount to the yearly fee. (I'm a member in the US and I only pay $25 a year. I don't know what it costs here.) The cars are approx ?7 an hour, gas and insurance included. Given the short term of your needs, I'd just rent a car from one of the big companies. Sixt has worked for us when we need something longer than an hourly zipcar. Good luck finding something!

Zipcar has cars all over the area. I've had great luck with them.

A flying plastic cup did a nice job on my kitchen window and I need to get it replaced. Most of the window places I've seen recommended on the forum seem like they do big sash window jobs. Does anyone have an experience with just one single pane window replacement? Should I use one of the big companies or just go with a handyman? Recomendations for either service would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

I was promised that Maclaren double buggy for ?20 (living the dream!) and I won't be satisfied until the real melissasmith delivers it to my front door. Seriously, if this strange person was looking for attention, she/he certainly acheived it. I can think of so many more interesting ways to cause trouble and piss people off.
