Laundrette on Bellenden is not closing as far as I know. Last time I used it , a large machine, suitable for a duvet was £7.00. Smaller machines £4.50. The dryer usually costs around £2.00 to dry a full load.
Bora are brilliant. Wide range, beautifully displayed, sold in paper bags , and you can buy as much as you need. I haven?t found the prices for day to day veg at all expensive (indeed I once had to ask if they had undercharged me).
I went to Kings as a walk in last Friday around 4.30. 20 minute wait, no GP letter needed, just your NHS number. I was exactly 182 days from 2nd jab and was given the booster. Very efficient. Although the vaccination centre is a long walk from the main entrance so it?s easier to go and leave via Coldharbour lane.
We shop a lot at Gather, a wide range of goods and really good value, especially as you just buy what you need. They were a lifeline in the first lockdown; they had things like flour when no one else did. And they are lovely people.
Arapina, a new bakery advertising healthy lifestyle baking, is open in the old Threshers, and smells delicious. And how great to see that shop space being used after what must be 20 years empty.
I got the letter and tried to book online but the nearest was a pharmacy in Brixton. I just rang my surgery (The Gardens) and asked if I could be booked somewhere closer. They sent me text link for TJC or the Lister. Went to TJC, which as others have said, was very efficient.

I have seen squirrels pull crocus flowers off, eat (presumably) the middle and then toss the rest away.
