Hi everyone Doug + Hathways Carpentry is absolutely fantastic - don't even think about going elsewhere. Firstly Doug helped us design and build bespoke floor to ceiling wardrobes, across our whole bedroom (photo attached) . They are extremely high quality and light up when the doors open and are my favourite feature in the whole house. Doug is very trustworthy and diligent - he's very respectful and leaves no mess which is incredible. Secondly, Doug helped us repair a new kitchen which had to be taken in and out several times due to a nightmare with builders and water pipes. We called Doug out in an emergency and he helped repair everything very well. We'll be using Doug again soon to design the rest of the storage and shelving features in our house. Cheers Doug!

We've just had a huge set of wardrobes designed and made by Doug Hathaway @ Hathaway Carpentry and I can't recommend him enough! Doug is brilliant - very detailed in the information he gives you regarding the design process and how to make the most of the space, and also how to tackle and electrical or outer wall issues before he arrives. We had 3 huge floor to ceiling wardrobes installed to a bespoke design and Doug created and fitted it all perfectly. Most of the work is done in his workshop pre-installation which keeps any mess down to a minimum. Highly considerate and I shall be recommending him to all of my friends. Many thanks Doug!

Yes nmh! My partner was walking from our house on Crystal Palace Road to Northcross Road, via Lacon Road at 10.30am yesterday (Boxing Day) and a black guy followed closely behind him uncomfortably so. My partner crossed the road and he crossed too. My partner turned around to face him dead on, and fortunately the guy then turned around and walked in the opposite direction as my partner had seen his face. Very suspicious and close by to your break-in. We suspect he was trying to mug my partner as the streets were empty with everyone away for Christmas and people often carrying christmas money in wallets at this time of year. Be careful everyone!
