She might have not mean that Cos if she meant to say windows exlorer she would have said it Would she What I understand from it is that computer boots up Yet windows as it operating system doesn't come on Cos that's what normal human would hhave said it Only people who knows some things about inside of the computers or operating systems would have said it as you did So no disrespect for you But as she explained the problem she looks like she use computers not learning about them Have you thought about it Maybe she have deleted by mistake some files from boot order menu or other windows component and it just need to be loaded back up and that's it I can suggest you ask her if she meant what she wrote or she thought about more techie stuff as you did Respect

I don't understand some solutions offered in all pc fix threads... In this case there is only 3 options 1 recover crashed windows with recovery disc 2 backup hard drive content and reinstall windows 3 replace faulty drive and reinstall windows ( if its a hard drive fault) And THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION Thank you

what a stupid comment with norton !! how do you know its a norton ?!! stupid simply troubleshoot connection and tell us what does it say then everyone (who knows what is doing) can find the answer and fix the problem within minutes ps. there can be few factors faulty internet browser wrong setup disconnected or faulty network card firewalled connection administrator access not allowed or few other things BUT NOT ANTIVIRUS GOODNESS SAKE obviously the guy doesn't know what is he talking about but good luck to you if you try him all the best
