  1. Hello, Can you let me know if these classes are still running, ie same place and time etc? Thanks Sonja
  2. Hello, I need new kitchen floor laid in Tulse Hill, due to water damage. Please PM me if you're a Floorer. Thanks
  3. I second that. Sarah is a brilliant instructor. I'm not "native" to the UK and learnt to drive over 20 years ago. The thought of driving in London traffic terrified me. A few lessons with Sarah and I was driving in peak hour in Central London. In her words she "pulled me apart and put me back together again." She is clear, concise and forthright and easily puts you at ease. There is no way in this world I would've passed my test OR been safe on the road without her. If you're putting off learning or brushing up, don't put it off any longer. No more buses!!!
  4. Hello, Do you have a telephone number for Maurice please? Thanks
  5. Little wheels sound like good idea Salsaboy, but not a job for me.
  6. Hello all, We have a pair of old Victorian sliding doors that need rehanging. Originally they would have run along the track in the floor, though with time, they have dropped and now are difficult to open and close. Looking for a creative solution. It's a job for a specialist. All recommendations greatly appreciated! Thanks
  7. Hello Sem, May I have your price list please? Also, do you do Biogel or Shellac manicures? Thanks Sonja
  8. Hello, I would like to recommend an electrician. Steve, SR Electrical and his number is 07870 598 978. He was able to fix some problems around our house that 3 other electricians (some of whom are mentioned on this forum) weren't. He's a lovely chap and I can't recommend him enough. Thanks
  9. Hi all, Thanks for your posts. Peppermint may still be one of the drop off points, I'm not sure. I needed it back swiftly so took it to Hanger Lane / Wembley where they are based. They did an express service and valet - tightened everything up, safety check etc and cleaned it all up within the hour. I was quite impressed and now have peace of mind that it's safe. I would recommend them, but obviously taking it there an leaving for an hour is different to collection where other parties are involved. Thanks.
  10. Hello, Does anyone know where you can get your buggy fixed locally? I have a Bugaboo Cameleon that needs new release buttons fitted and a general tidy up (bought 2nd hand, so want the peace of mind to know someone's looked at it professionaly) Buggy Pit Stop offer the right sort of service, but are located in North West London. It would be great if anyone knew of a similar company a bit closer to Dulwich. Thanks!
  11. Hi, We used a plasterer called Aaron (07773 410 661) He was brilliant. I felt completely assured by him. He really knows what he is doing. He always arrived on time, did what he said he would do (and a bit more) and was completely professional, likeable and trustworthy. Thoroughly recommend him.
  12. Hi - I second the Jake Dunn recommendation. He is amazing. Good creatively, nice chap and goes beyond the call of duty. He made me 3 built in wardrobes to high spec and quick turnaround time. Plus then I roped him in to doing a few other odd jobs around the house as I'm heavily pregnant and they needed doing. I'm not saying he's going to do your odd jobs, but his level of service and committment is second to none. He's brilliant!
