Please check out VP Removals. They were extremely professional. Lots of good reviews in the Forum. http://www.vpremovals.co.uk/

Hi Annie, I strongly recommend Slavek. You can see other recommendations of him here in the forum. His number is 07966 067004. Very reliable.

Used VP Removals last Saturday and after quite a few moves, can honestly say that they were the best by far. Very professional and friendly team. They even helped carrying an extremely heavy storage heater to the bin room for council collection. Strongly recommended. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your posts. I'm not sure if James Barber is still reading this thread but after some feedback and private messages, I get the impression that families living in certain areas of Dulwich/Peckham are not getting any of their chosen comunity schools. I will send him an email just to make him aware of these situation, if not yet to his knowledge. -

Thank you Henry. Like you said, it is a no man's land and these are the families that are being let down by the current system. -

I have put 5 schools down. Was very realistic with all my choices (all non catholic) and based myself on distance and/or journey. The fact that I was offered a school 1.5 miles away that I didn't choose or visited beforehand (Harris Primary Academy) is not so much the issue. The problem is that I don't have a car and I'm dreading the everyday journey on multiple buses or very long walks with a 4 year old. I live by Grove Tavern. Any ideas? -

Dear James, I'm glad you are happy with the statistcs. Unfortunately, my family falls on the 4.5% of families not given any of the 6 choices selected. I was offered a place in a school 1.5 miles away from my address. We do not have a car, which means we will have to get two buses to get to the school or face a quite long walk. I'm really looking forward to this experience. Kind regards, Helga
