Another enthusiastic recommendation for Niko (07818 607583). Polite, trustworthy, did a great job at a good price and was really communicative throughout. It was a bit of an unusual job - installing a new toilet, but with new floorboards going in midway through - and he was willing to improvise and be flexible around the demands of the task. He's also offered a lot of free plumbing advice on how to plan and make jobs more cost-effective. Highly recommended!

Hi - looking for a builder/building firm to remove/fit a kitchen. Ideally with they're own recommended plumber, electrician and tiler. Any recommendations and responses much appreciated! Cheers, Paul

I've got an old TV aerial hanging off my roof which needs removing - does anyone know of a business/tradesman who would be willing to do it? Official roofing companies seem to have pretty high callout fees! All suggestions/solutions welcome.

Recommendation for Terry McGinley (07590208231) a fully qualified electrician serving East Dulwich. Really nice guy, easy to set up appointment, punctual, tidy and at a good price. He replaced a faulty light fitting in my bathroom and was done in less than half-an-hour. Very good.

What happened to the St Thomas More Hall?
Shambury replied to minder's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
This is a great idea! Moved to ED a couple of years ago, love the area, but a new cinema would really add something, particularly to that end of Lordship Lane. A small cinema doesn't just show films but also provides a great space for the community to meet and hold creative events (short film nights, Q&As etc).
