  1. Update to this, new venues opening on Lordship Lane: Sweaty Betty (upmarket sportswear shop) MeatLiquor (chain of quirky burger joints) - this is taking over where the Sea Cow used to be.
  2. The East Dulwich Tavern on Lordship Lane has an upstairs room which is available for private hire - it has it's own bar, kitchen and sound system. It's also got it's own entrance so perfect for parties! The Rye on Rye Lane (Peckham Rye end) has a lovely garden area, so worth asking there about hosting your party there. Railway Telegraph in Forest Hill also has lovely outdoor garden. Hope you find something :)
  3. Hiya Beautyescapemobile, Do you do Lycon wax? Thanks, Roberta
  4. There is a group cycle room at Peckham Pulse (just behind Peckham Library). There are multiple classes every day and the standard of the teachers are great - you really feel like you're getting a good workout! The bikes all have digital displays too.
  5. The Rooftop Film club has recently released its summer programme and are showing a whole load of great films at The Bussey building on Rye Lane, Peckham starting on Thursday May 1st. These events tend to sell out very quickly so I'd definitely recommend buying a ticket soon! Programme list can be found here: http://www.rooftopfilmclub.com/peckham-program.html
  6. Just received this link from Southwark council via Twitter: http://www.southwark.gov.uk/news/article/1519/christmas_opening_hours Christmas trees can be collected as part of your normal garden refuse, alternatively you can take them down to one of the collection sites [Devon Street (off Old Kent Road), Belair Park, Peckham Rye Park and Southwark Park] or can arrange an ad-hoc collection by calling/emailing the environment team.
