Parents and carers are offered teas and coffees on arrival and encouraged to chat and get to know one another. We then provide a 30-minute workshop where you will learn baby action rhymes, songs and lullabies. We will provide live music to accompany your singing, an African drumming section, dancing with baby, parachute play and bubbles. Baby Sensory Stay and Play Music - 4 months to 12 months Our sensory baby classes are weekly themed sessions, designed for 4 months to approx. 12 months depending on the baby?s mobility. Once your child is walking we would suggest moving to our mixed baby and toddler classes. The sessions last 1 hour. We provide free tea and coffee, a chance for parents/carers to meet up and socialise and a 30-minute music session with a fully trained Whippersnapper Music Tutor. Classes include; African Drumming, Sensory Lighting, Props, Singing, Baby Signing, Parachute Play, Bubbles and Dressing up Mixed Baby and Toddler Music - 6 months to 4 years Whippersnapper baby and toddler music classes are themed and last 30 minutes. They include interactive songs, role play, African drumming, musical instruments, puppets, dressing-up and dancing. These classes are suitable for toddlers and their siblings. Whippersnappers Fairyland back for enchanting 2nd year Book a magical day out in Dulwich for your children June 5 2016, East Dulwich, London: Now in its second year, the magical Whippersnappers Fairyland Experience is booking for an extended 9-day run at the beginning of the summer holidays, following rave reviews from the 2015 Experience. Suitable for all children aged 3-7 plus their siblings (and with plenty to engage their accompanying adults), this fantastic event runs for an hour and a half, during which children receive a magical experience from start to finish ? and walk away with a goody bag and a free pair of fairy wings! If your child came last year and enjoyed it, do come again - children returning for their 2nd year will be receive a secret ?fairy?s friend? gift! There is additionally a special event on 27th July for children with disabilities and their families. Beginning with a glass of elderflower cordial served by Master Dobb?s team of sprites, children will take part in a series of adventures ? exploring the ?Wyld Wood? where all sorts of little creatures and their homes are tucked away, visiting the Pixie Encampment and helping Sugar Plum complete her daily Bake Off challenge. There will be plenty of dressing up and trying on pixie clothes and a final celebration of Irish Fairy magic completes the journey. The complete experience includes all of the above, plus the performance ?Seamus and the Puca? which enraptures all the children who see it. In 2011 Whippersnappers opened their second site College Lodge in Dulwich Park, raising ?250,000 to convert this old Park Keepers Lodge into an Inclusive Community Arts Centre.

Victorian Park Keepers Lodge transformed into a magical land of Fairies and Pixies .Making fairy garlands and pixie hats our guests peek in on a garden of mini fairy worlds. Have your face painted with sparkling fairy dust, help the kitchen pixies prepare a feast of fairy cakes and slake your thirst with our home-brewed elderflower potion. Finally take part in our Irish Fairy Tale theatrical production helping larger than life characters create a memory to take away and share. Whippersnappers were founded in 1994 and are a not-for-profit company which has been successfully delivering theatre, music, sports and arts projects for over 20 years. Follow Santa's Sooty Footprints upstairs to the Wonderland Waiting Room to meet *Moth Starfrost the Christmas Tree Fairy. Build a sensory 'snowman' and enjoy a traditional Christmas sing-a long. While Santa's Elf rushes to and fro ringing a bell to call each child into Santa's Grotto. Whippersnappers in Dulwich Park Further to Whippersnappers commitment to inclusion, we are pleased to announce for this Novembers Disability History Month, an Art Exhibition called ?The Art of Creation?. This exhibition will included 20 Mouth and Foot Painters from around the World as well as local artist promoting the awareness of Cystic Fibrosis, plus Whippersnappers After School Club with their journey around disability. There will be demonstrations on Saturday the 22nd November from 1pm to 5pm led by leading Mouth and Foot Painter?s Tom Yendell, Mojgan Safa and Ranhit Bhamra. Tom Yendell will also be giving a talk about his life on the Sunday the 23rd November at 3pm. Part Time ? 8 hours a week occasionally more Role Scope The job holder will ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in the computerised accounts (currently Quick Books, supported by some spreadsheets, is used). In reviewing these transactions he/she will present to managers those suppliers? bills available for payment.
