  1. The point is that the council should spend their money on much better things. What a waste of public resources.
  2. Suddenly parking inspectors are all over lordship lane and surrounding streets, clearly they have nothing better to spend money on than sending 20 a day to this area. Particularly around the Goose Green end of Lordship Lane they are waiting in the side roads to ticket you.
  3. Does anyone know if letsom gardens is doing its bonfire tonight? they’re website is a bit confusing - did it already happen yesterday?
  4. Hi I just took my test, you have to wake up and log in at 6am on a Monday and book for the 1 week that is 6 months ahead that they release at that time. By 6:01 they’re all gone for Hither Green and Bromley so be quick. I ended up getting Bromley!
  5. I’m hosting and exhibition tomorrow for my MA dissertation in Theatre and Performance at The Remakery in Brixton, between 2pm-5pm. Do drop in! Information on the photo attached
  6. HELP if you see my bike being sold call the popo
  7. Oh Abbas! Good luck finding him, such a lovely boy
  8. A lot of the bad parking is by kids who steal the bikes - you can get them moving without paying if you know how, and then park them wherever without a penalty charge. So if you see them parked in stupid places it’s probably not the people who use them properly, as we risk a fine for parking them badly!
  9. Seen this flyer in Forest Hill Another protest, same vein as the Great Exhibition protest on March 10th. If anyone wants to turn up and show support for local drag queens (and stick it to the far right!), details on the flyer
  10. Have spotted a cat in the laundrette next to millie’s nails. Working dogs could include the North Cross Road bookshop!

  15. Hi all! My name is Elise, I've lived in Dulwich all my life and worked for many local families as a babysitter and childminder. I am now a graduate from the University of Sussex in Drama, Theatre and Performance, and this summer I am running a 10 week drama club for kids based at Ivydale School on a Wednesday evening. I'll attach my flyer to this post! If your child is interested in drama or acting, or you simply want to get them to burn off some energy this is the perfect place for them. I have two groups, 4-7 year olds and 8-11 year olds. My email is on the flyer for anyone interested, or if you have any questions! Thank you in advance!
  16. The speed on my record player is just slightly too slow! Is anyone able to sort it for me? It?s not to do with the RPM, it?s just a little bit off! Cheers
  17. iPhone screen needs fixing, lordship lane. It?s cracked, and iPhone 7! Please text Elise 07341389139
  18. Mimi?s looks perfect for me! I?m dying at how cute their Facebook photos are. Fingers crossed they have a little mouse for me. Thanks!!
  19. Hi all, I had adopted a pet mouse earlier this year called Gary Oldman, and sadly he died a couple of weeks ago. I want to get another one for Christmas, although no mouse will ever sufficiently replace the love and affection that Gary gave me, I can try. I spoke to Pets at Home and the man had no idea where to get one? Does anyone know where I'd be able to find one (younger the better so that I have a year or two until I experience another harrowing mouse death)? Please help mend my broken, mouse-less heart. Any pet shops that sell mice or local mouse owners with babies? PS: Please no comments about "there's one under my dishwasher you can have", have heard it a thousand times.
  20. Hi there, I have a Crosley record player I got for free off of a forum in Brighton. The sound is rubbish, there's perhaps some sort of loose wire or issue with the speakers that are on the side. I changed the needle, and I have got some old oxfam records to try on it (don't worry about me using precious records on it! I had a well-meaning but slightly patronising man tell me not to trust Crosley last time I mentioned the dodgy sound...). Is anyone able to take a look at it? Photo attatched is the model it is.
  21. There's going to be a big yard sale this Sunday 30th in ED! Garden and house clearance: Vintage bric a brac, furniture, clothes and shoes, camping equipment, mature indoor and outdoor plants, pots, garden furniture and tools etc. (I will have lots of women's clothes and shoes from brands like Urban Outfitters, Doc Martens, Converse, H&M, Brandy Melville, Topshop, ZARA, Forever 21 and ASOS) SUNDAY 30th of JUNE at 11am-4pm 181A Barry Road, East Dulwich, SE22 0JP
  22. I'm 16 and I like to go to Covent Garden (Whittards, Moomin Store, Rockit) if I'm shopping, as well as Tottenham Court Rd (Big Paperchase, Tiger, Muji) and Oxford Street Lush is 3 floors. Otherwise walk along the Southbank or IMAX cinema. There's also V&A, Natural History Museum and Science Museum if they like that.
  23. I'm a 16 year old living in East Dulwich. I have 2 cats of my own and have done cat-sitting many times before but can look after any other animals you have (including dogs). I also have experience with dog-walking and can walk your dog in any area local to East Dulwich. Please contact me if you need either of these as I am looking to earn money for the summer. I can also decide a suitable charge with you at the time. Please PM me or contact me 078064615441, even if you just need a one off dog-walker or pet sitting. Thanks!
