  1. Come on chaps..... I said settle down. This will be my 15th General Election and I will vote the same as I always have.
  2. Lets put things in perspective. We will vote for a party to run this country for five years. It will have a leader BUT will generally work towards the type of society a majority of its members and supporters want. They all want the same general policy And if the winning leader falls under a bus all those people won't change their mind. They will just pick another leader and the policy will remain. And if you don't vote for the winning party this time in five years time you will have another chance.. Its only for five years. Most of you on this forum have many more years to live Very soon there will be another billion in the world. Most young people aged 16 today will live for 100 years. When they are my age (78) they will share this world with possibly 20 billion. Settle down everyone.
  3. We had Ovencleanerssurrey.co.uk just before Christmas and he did an excellent job They take all the bits to their van to soak and while they soak he really gave the top surounds and inside a good going over and everything sparkled. Took about 2 plus hours. Call 07768 256 747.
  4. This thread is just fine for those who have time to just loaf around all day.
  5. Well done Lavender27..... You stoked the fire THEN had a cup of tea and your bacon sandwich!
  6. Ahh.... Only just caught up with this.... I voted NOT to join last time when there were only eight others in it. I believed then it was to allow business to have free hand and would diminish Parliment. Now there are 27 others, four of which are almost dictatorates and the whole thing is going to be another Titanic within five years. So its OUT for me...
  7. Hi there. Just heard that the Labour Party had a new leader elected some time ago. As I am interested in politics and voted back in the eighties can someone fill me in on the current situation?
  8. OK, the vote is now closed so I think it's time for a nice cup of tea and a bun. The result will take a few weeks and then we will all know who is the Leader. Thank you all for your contributions.
  9. Hi there, Anyone know of a good world stragety browser game? Have been playing Illyriad.co.uk for three years and will still do so but need another good one to play. I don't want just a PvP town building, that is you don't get achancr to build anything before 100 other players flatten you. I don't mind a Role playing, again without having to fight monsters every five minutes. I play on a laptop, none of your kindles, Ipads, smartphones or tablets. Was brought up on letter PBM and atari games so I like to take my time. Ta very much!
