Posting this as I found it hard to find recommendations for IT support! I woul highly recommend Zoltan 07891097260 who fixed my extremely slow running and glitchy Dell laptop and it now seems like a brand new machine. He's based in Mitcham but travels all over - will come to you on his bike. He can also help with Macs and phones/tablets - he worked as an 'apple genius' in the Mac store before doing this. I thought the price was v reasonable for the time spent and how thorough he was. Nice guy who seemed trustworthy. I just wanted to add my recommendation for JP after finding him via this site. He came to replace a light fitting and remove some old ones. He found ways round various problems that I hadn't thought of and gave me very helpful suggestions for lighting and general issues in my new flat. He's a very nice guy and the price was really reasonable compared to other quotes I'd got.

Just wanted to add another recommendation for the lovely Jo. I had skirt I'd inherited from my nan where I liked the fabric but it was a funny shape - she took it in to be more modern and wearable and it looks even better than I'd hoped for. She also shortened a dress for me which also looks great. I thought the price was v reasonable and she did it really quickly. Cheers Jo!

Thanks very much everybody for the recommendations. I used Kevin (07818568095) as a couple of people suggested and would highly recommend him - he was really punctual, friendly and helpful. The van was more than big enough to cope with having about twice as much stuff as I thought and he was really nice about it! Price extremely reasonable too.

Hi I'm looking for a man and van to help me with a very light removal on Saturday (I'm moving from one furnished property to another so just have bags and boxes and a small collection of bedside tables!). I can definitely recommend Mike. He fitted a new pull cord light switch in our bathroom. I looked for a few quotes and his was really reasonable. He was punctual and made it easy to arrange a convenient time as I needed to nip out of work. Obviously this was only a samll job but he was very tidy and efficient and I would use him if we needed more work. I've recommended him to our landlady.
