Hello there, I've been researching my family history for a couple of years, and my maternal ancestors(Neighbour family) were born and brought up in and around Lordship Lane and Frogley Road. Numbers 7, 9, and 11 Frogley Road. I used to visit an aunt there up to about 20 years ago, her name was Florence Puncher,(nee Neighbour) her husband was Vic. I'm not after any specific information, just interested to know if anyone remembers them, or anything of any interest!! I believe the family were there for some years. Florences father Sidney Richard Neighbour was killed in the great war, his father was William, and he was a timber merchant in the area, sometime around 1880. Any general info would be brilliant, thankyou........................... I've just had a look at some posts about the dulwich war memorial. Sidney Richard(above) was in the 3rd battalion rifle brigade, prince own consort. Im presuming that he enlisted in East dulwich barracks. Would that be right do you think? Will keep looking through.
