  1. Hello, I need to move a small sofa bed from Forest Hill to the bottom of Sydenham Hill, sadly unlikely to fit in my tiny car. Anyone local with a van able to help in exchange for money? thanks

  3. As we hurtle triumphantly towards the weekend, a reminder that your local comedy club is back in East Dulwich, At the Dulwich Hamlet FC bar this Sunday from 7pm. The night is run by volunteers to benefit the football club, so hopefully, admins will allow this post to stay! This month, Fern Brady headlines a line up that also includes Edinburgh Best Newcomer 2019 nominee Sophie Duker and Mark Silcox from Man Like Mobeen and Joe Lycett's Got Your Back. Tickets are just ?8 in advance or a fiver with our very generous concession policy (all teachers, NHS staff, local council employees, Police, Fire etc) and pints are three quid all night. Tickets from below or available on the door on the night. https://www.designmynight.com/london/whats-on/comedy/dulwich-hamlet-comedy-club?t=tickets
  4. Hello I'm looking for a gardener with experience of laying false grass to lay a lawn in my small back garden. I'm based in Se26. Looking for someone to do the work in September ideally. thanks
  5. Hello Our next East Dulwich comedy night at Dulwich Hamlet FC is coming up. After a very successful second show in July, we are back on Sunday 4th August at the club bar (right next to Sainsbury's on Dog Kennel Hill) - we've got a cracking line up, lead by Lauren Pattison, one of the funniest and freshest voices to emerge onto the circuit in the last few years. The comedy starts at 7pm and we will finish around 9.30 - tickets are available from the link below or on the door on the night, and are priced at ?8 or ?5 for concessions - concession prices are available for anyone working for the NHS, Teacher, Blue Light Service, Local Authority and Forces as well as Over 60s and Students. It's worth noting that even though this is an even run by Hamlet fans, it's comedy club and has nothing to do with football and no knowledge or even interest is required to have a fantastic night. And if you've never visited our bar before, it's open every night and all day at weekends, and serves a brilliant, and reasonably priced range of drinks as well as Pieminster Pies and hot dogs - including Vegan Options. Hope to see you there! https://dulwichhamletfc.seetickets.com/event/dhfc-comedy-club-lauren-pattison/champion-hill-stadium-london/1411560
  6. Please consider not giving your money to the Picturehouse chain, until they stop their appalling treatment of their workers and union reps. Thanks http://www.brixtonbuzz.com/2017/06/brixton-ritzy-workers-on-strike-again-on-july-1st-as-they-fight-to-reinstate-the-picturehouse-4/
  7. I'm torn now, I'm a dog owner who always picks up my mutts mess, but I'm tempted to train them to poop right at the end of the OPs drive. Professional dog photos cost a fortune and this way I can get some done for free, and even posted straight to the EDF for my downloading convenience..
  8. What a nasty post Take Note, you have no idea how these owners got hold of their dogs. I know some of them, and know that one of the missing dogs they rescued when an unscrupulous breeder had no need of her any more. How about sharing the missing posters all over social media or going to put some posters up, rather than using the trauma of these poor owners to further your own agenda?
  9. Hello I'm looking for someone to ideally source and fit some black out roller blinds for my flat. I've got two bed rooms that are currently very light in the morning due to only have white, office style, blinds and I'd like them replaced. As I'm only renting the property, I'm not looking for super expensive wooden ones, just rollers that will block out the sun. One bed room has double front Victorian windows and the other is a single window. Please PM me if you think you can help.
