  1. Muggers will always come to nicer places as they think the people living there must have better stuff to take, they also assume that the people who live in these areas have a naivety to this type of thing and will therefore be a lot easier to mug and get away with it... Sadly I have lived here all my life and know a lot of people who have had this terrible experience, I think the best and hardest thing to do is to stand up for yourself and not be put off going anywhere just because your worried about bumping into one of these muppets! :)
  2. I can second this recommendation, Debbie is an extremely good cleaner and is still working for me now thankfully. I'm so busy with work, messy kids and extremely messy husband it really helps to have Debbie round every other week for two hours to really sproose the house up and give it a proper deep clean. She is on time and very trust worthy and does the little extras without me even having to ask which is lovely. 0797 912 8233 - She does ironing as well for a good rate :) (HATE ironing)
  3. Try Bennet and Co just off lordship lane My aunt works there but I use them and so does my husband 020 8693 0221 ? 16 Upland Rd, London SE22 9GG
  4. Hi Guys, Just wanted to let you know about a landscaper I have recently used for my back garden over the past month. We have been focusing on the main house last year but finally got round to doing up our garden as that always seems to be last however it is what I am most pleased about! Andrew really has put his heart and soul into this project and it??s a real extension of the home and it??s like having another room. He was very competitive when it came to pricing and he made sure I understood exactly what I was paying for. He was very punctual and MOST importantly clean and tidy! I was dreading having the garden done after the house and worried so much about the new carpets and walls however he was extremely careful and I there was no issues with this at all thankfully! I just can??t wait until the summer now so I can really enjoy the new space. Andrew Miller - 07712621808 ??
  5. I have used Damien before whilst refurbing my house last year, he is very reliable and efficient and extremely competitive when it comes to pricing. He was a joy to work with and really explained what he was doing throughout so I knew what I was paying for unlike most! Would definitely use him again :)
  6. I had this company give me a quote on my loft last year, although they where slightly cheaper than most I didn't decide to go with them as I had heard bad things and I am so glad I didn't. They are professional and polite when they come to price the job up initially but when the job starts it all changes. I ended up going with HamiltonWalters, Lenny was a lot more personable and I was much more involved in the loft through the project, start to finish. I ended up having an extension as well carried out and the price was very reasonable. I was more than happy with the price and finish and would recommend him to any of you guys. his number is 077 8000 4007 Hope this helps!
  7. Don't understand why people have to be so petty on this forum, I thought it was for open opinions and helpful advice but I cant ever put a post up on here without some one having a sly dig. Yes I'm a fat fat fatty who loves an all you can eat. ofcourse, that's why I went toast in the first place. :/
  8. Hi, I use a lady called Debbie, she is reliable and very thorough. Always pleased with how she leaves the place. She is cheap and will do ironing for a little extra, been using her for years now so trustworthy as well. Her number is 07979128233 :)
  9. I use a lady called Debbie, she is very reliable and thorough. She is cheap and also does ironing for a little extra. Her number is 07979128233 :)
  10. We had 4 plates between 2 of us plus bread, dessert and olives and I was STILL hungry! My main meal consisted of soft cheese (could have been Philadelphia for all I knew), x2 new potato's cut in half, Some mushy duck and a plate with 5 slices of chewy ham. I have been to tapas places before, this was nothing like it. My bill came to over ?80.00 and it just wasn't worth it. Again, I think it is new and they are very trying and the environment, service and wine is great so I would go back, just not for food. :)
  11. That's what I'm wondering but maybe not? I have read many positive reviews on this forum regarding this place so I thought I'd give it a try but was disappointed with the food only. The service and wine was brill...so more wine less food for me next time I guess :)
  12. Hi Guys... Has any one else been the Toast ED on Lordship lane before for FOOD??? The wine there is good and I would go back for pre-drinks possibly but I wouldn't recommend any1 go there for an actual meal. I found it over priced and the actual size of the meal itself wasn't great. I went with my partner and it just wasn't enough for a grown man. The olives look like the ones you would leave until last normally and the dessert was just not what was described on the very pretentious menu. We were served the first glass of fizzy wine THEN told it was nice because it was only 0.2% alcohol! Safe to say I was NOT impressed...
  13. Babour is amazing! the taste menu is so good! would def go here on a weekend though. Dulwich tandoori is the best on lordship lane for me however....
  14. I wouldn't class it as stealing....they where most likely looking for your personal info! BUY A SHREDDER!!!
  15. I just wanted to recommend Mia, she is always on time and very reasonable with her prices! I have had a few nightmare situations in salons before and much prefer a home visit. The results are better than I have received from the salons I have previously been to so I will definitely be keeping Mia as my very own beauty therapist :) x
