  1. Missing 8 month old calico cat, Dotty, In the Melbourne Grove, Lytcott Grove, Colwell Road area. She’s got a red collar with her name and phone number printed on it. She’s small and slim, mixed white, ginger and black with a white tip to the end of her tail & distinctive beauty spot on her face. She’s pretty shy so unusual for her to roam far but hasn’t come home when called for her. Thanks, Sally
  2. Found this ring this morning, Tuesday 12th December, around 0840, on Melbourne Grove opposite the junction with Chesterfield Grove.
  3. We've just had our garden totally transformed by the wonderful Matthew aka Secret Jungle London. Before and after pic attached and you can see more on his instagram. He was quick (did it all in under 2.5 days), reasonably priced and knowledgeable. We couldn't be happier and are very happy to recommend him. 4. Hi We've just used Matthew from Secret Jungle London (I'm about to post a recommendation here). He was brilliant - reasonably priced, fast and attentive. Totally reformed our garden. He's on 07808876820
  5. Hi I?m looking for a gardener with their own lawnmower and strimmer to tend to a reasonably sized garden just off the Townlet Road end of Lordship Lane. The property is for sale and currently empty so would be free to access without worry of social distancing. Thanks Sally
  6. Gumboots LEYF on Crystal Palace Road might be. They?ve joined with Camberwell Grove LEYF. Let me know if you need a contact.
  7. Hi Looking for a small artist studio for an illustrator, ideally in East Dulwich with enough space for a drawing board and laptop. Have checked out Oru already but not sure it?s quite right and a little more expensive than expected. Any recommendations and ideas welcome! Thanks
  8. UPDATE: Thanks to anyone who kept an eye out for Nero. He tumbled through the cat flap at 10pm last night, hungry and rather sorry for himself. I imagine he had quite the adventure! Our black cat Nero made a break for it on the way to the vets this morning, somehow forcing the gate on his carrier. It was on Melbourne Grove and he dashed into the gardens between numbers 80 and 86. It's not too far from home but wanted to get the word out now in case he get's lost as he's pretty old. He's fairly slim, with the top of one ear missing and blind in one eye (with a grey patch on the iris) from previous escapades. Pic attached. No collar but he's chipped and registered at The Neighbourhood Vet on Lordship Lane. If spotted can you give me a call please - 07941635723 Thanks Sally
  9. A quick recommendation for James who I found on here (thanks to ElisaSmith). He helped us move house on Saturday and was incredibly helpful, quick and reasonable. If you are looking for a man and van then James is definitely the chap to speak to! He's on 07904897508.
  10. Hi We're moving house on Saturday from SE15 to SE5 and I'm looking for a man and van hire. I'm a member of Zipvan but ideally looking for a luton van as well as someone to do the driving! Any local recommendations out there? SK
  11. Not a great angle as was running for train but you can just make out the tash they've given Farage.
  12. It does say a lot doesn't it! And here I thought I'd be inundated with posts. Didn't know about the Plough one...
  13. Good Friday to you all... Ok, so I know there's a lot of singles out there and wondered if anyone was up for a singles night sometime at the end of this month? Nothing too organised, just an opportunity for those who are not attached and in the area to meet up. Anyone interested?
  14. Klaus - thanks, will bear all in mind as I traul the interweb for suitable steeds. Don't suppose you could recommend somewhere that servcies hub systems? I've got one at the moment and it keeps slipping in 6 and 7 and I want to get it serviced before turning her in. I'll give the canal a try on the weekend... hmm. That sounds rather dodgy does it not! Yes Horsebox, you're right, it is a longish route. I used to go oval and vauxhall bridge but found that at this time of year when it's windy crossing Vaxhaull bridge is a kin to wading through tracle with buses on one side! And I agree, Westminster bridge is better by far for views. To be honest I just like the parks and lack of traffic I get that way. And a bit more of the sun in the summer. Where do you go to? Oh, and if anyone is interested in a ridiculousy old peugot mountain bike please let me know. I need to get rid of it and feel awful binning something that's seen me through the good times and the bad...
