Hi. I hope this is the right place to post. I'm looking for recommendations for a cleaner for around 3 or 4 hours a week, to start immediately. I need someone who can do usual household duties - cleaning floors, kitchen & bathroom and ironing, making beds, etc. Occasional window cleaning, etc also. Thanks in advance.

We took a look at the Little Fingers Montessori nursery on Barry Road and really liked it - they seemed to be very caring. They have a separate baby room for under 2's (a lot of nurseries we called, especially Montessori ones, were for over 2's only) with availability right away, so we registered our boys to start this week. Hi, I'm looking into hiring a nanny for our twin boys, and wanted some advice on how to go about this. I haven't hired a nanny before, but there seems to lots of parents on here that have nannies already :) Specifically, how do you find a good nanny? Do you use personal recommendations, agencies or just go through sites such as childcare.co.uk and vet them yourselves. The main thing is that we want a nanny that is CRB checked etc, and how would we verify that? Hopefully I don't sound too paranoid.. Thanks in advance.

Hi, We've moving to East Dulwich next week with our twin 20-month old boys, and are looking for good nurseries in the area. Does anyone have a recommendation? We also might need a nanny in the short-term depending on waiting lists etc, so any nanny recommendations would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance
