Hi I want to buy white roman blinds for my house. They need to be made to fit and not have feable fixtures. Can anyone recommend a local business or online place? I had some from John Lewis and all of the fittings snapped!

Just been to Kuki hairdressers today - really impressed with the salon and my hairdresser Gunel. Great cut - and ?40 seems to be a good rate compared to other places in the area with a good rep. Will be using this place from now on.

If you use a dog walker I have a little warning. I was just walking through Nunhead Cemetery and a big Golden Retriever came running from out of the woods a good 100 metres out and onto the road. Having got the dog back, I tried to find the owner to let them know and found a dog walker - hadn't event noticed the dog was gone. I told her - I just got this dog out of the road, were you aware that the dog was missing...her response....(didn't look interested, wouldnt make eye contact) - 'I never know which dogs they will put together' - I was puzzled, and waited for a more responsible / caring response, didn't come. I walked off noticing that of the 7-8 dogs she was walking (that I could see) all were running off in different directions and there wasn't a chance that she was in control. I did see another walker who looked more in control walking in the cemetery so I'm sure they are not all like this but be aware if you don't want to pay for your dog to be running down the road. May also be worth mentioning that the Golden Retriever although in the road, did seem to be having a really good time.

We had our system Power Flushed last year by Steve Smith and it sorted out our problems - which sounded very similar to yours. His number is 07738356432 / [email protected] He fitted a magnaclean / inhibitor chemicals / power flush for ?380 - he came on a Saturday and it was done in a morning. Highly recommend him (and it took us ages to find him!)

I have been trying to get a reliable roofer to take a look at my ever increasing number of damp patches on my ceilings and top of walls. I have had various unreliable people turn up and then not reply etc so really want someone who is not a time waster! I have been trying to call David Duggan who was recomended on an earlier thread but his number has been ringing off for two weeks now. I am in Nunhead/Peckham. Please Help!
