Does anyone know if there is a Swedish group for kids at Grove Vale library? Heard this from a friend but can?t find anything online and when I popped in today, it was a librarian who doesn?t normally work there so she didn?t know.

Just someone to be aware of - left the house this morning at 8.30am and 2 guys (one white, one black) parked in white van on Colwell Rd. Called out and asked for directions to Bromley. Claimed they had been robbed at knifepoint and lost their phones then asked for money for petrol. Maybe wouldn?t have thought more about it but just been stopped on way home with my husband (Melbourne Grove)by the white guy (tattoos on neck, beard) again asking for directions to Bromley. When I acknowledged I?d seen him already today he got a bit freaked and marched off shouting ?keep walking? Maybe avoid if you come across him.

Strange noise for the past week at 5am Colwell Rd/Playfield Cres

It could well be that but it is still waking us up every morning. We would very much appreciate it if the person doing this could continue the practice without the bowl as we are exhausted! -
Has anyone else been woken up repeatedly over the past week at about 5am by a strange repetitive noise on Colwell Rd/Playfield Crescent? It's a bit like a bell or Tibetan bowl and I wonder if someone is doing some early morning yoga? I got up and went outside this morning and it definitely isn't something outside that is being blown by the wind (my first thought)but it's really annoying as it's surprisingly loud!

My husband has just got back from the park and my 2.5 year old son, his shoes and bike got covered in poo again.. I feel so exasperated and disappointed firstly that there are still so many irresponsible dog owners who don?t clear up but also that there seems to be very little that can be done in terms of fining those who don?t.

I've decided to set up a WhatsApp group for local women who have PND right now, think they may have it (even if you don't want to admit that just yet) or who have come through or are recovering from it. My son is 11 months old and I fell apart when he was 6 months old. One of the hardest things has been admitting how I feel and wondering how other mothers will view me. I'm much better than I was but know I have a long way to go.. I'm part of a First Babies WhatsApp group which I love and when there was a recent post about maternal mental health, I really wanted to keep the conversations going. Of course, Not everyone is experiencing mental health issues so the threads move on to other things! If you feel like you need support, a space to be accepted on the darkest of days or if you can offer support as a recovered mama, please send me your mobile number and what name you'd like to use and I'll set up the group

Hi Laura, I have a 7 month old baby boy and would be happy to meet and introduce you to some of the mums I know. Even though I have lived here for a while, I didn't get my act together on NCT so looking to meet more mums too! Lorna
