Thank you! That?s great -
Does anyone know if there is a Swedish group for kids at Grove Vale library? Heard this from a friend but can?t find anything online and when I popped in today, it was a librarian who doesn?t normally work there so she didn?t know.

Are you a recently qualified complementary therapist, personal trainer or similar? Or perhaps you have been qualified for a while but finding it a real struggle to make your passion pay? My name is Lorna Clansey and I am a qualified life coach and an experienced Amatsu practitioner with a busy clinic based in East Dulwich. I am looking for volunteers to help me with some research for a marketing workshop for complementary therapists that I am designing and planning to run in the local area. I am looking to speak to people in the wellness field about their feelings about promoting themselves and finding paying clients. Participation will involve a 30 minute phone conversation at a time that suits us both. Of course, all information will be confidential and names will be removed from my records. In return for your time, I will offer you a 30 minute phone coaching/mentoring session about your business. If this sounds interesting, please contact me at [email protected] with your name, telephone number and best times for you to speak. Thank you!

Just someone to be aware of - left the house this morning at 8.30am and 2 guys (one white, one black) parked in white van on Colwell Rd. Called out and asked for directions to Bromley. Claimed they had been robbed at knifepoint and lost their phones then asked for money for petrol. Maybe wouldn?t have thought more about it but just been stopped on way home with my husband (Melbourne Grove)by the white guy (tattoos on neck, beard) again asking for directions to Bromley. When I acknowledged I?d seen him already today he got a bit freaked and marched off shouting ?keep walking? Maybe avoid if you come across him.

Strange noise for the past week at 5am Colwell Rd/Playfield Cres
aandl replied to aandl's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
It could well be that but it is still waking us up every morning. We would very much appreciate it if the person doing this could continue the practice without the bowl as we are exhausted! -
Has anyone else been woken up repeatedly over the past week at about 5am by a strange repetitive noise on Colwell Rd/Playfield Crescent? It's a bit like a bell or Tibetan bowl and I wonder if someone is doing some early morning yoga? I got up and went outside this morning and it definitely isn't something outside that is being blown by the wind (my first thought)but it's really annoying as it's surprisingly loud!

My husband has just got back from the park and my 2.5 year old son, his shoes and bike got covered in poo again.. I feel so exasperated and disappointed firstly that there are still so many irresponsible dog owners who don?t clear up but also that there seems to be very little that can be done in terms of fining those who don?t.

CBT, Psychological Therapy & Counselling - Dulwich Village
aandl replied to Antennae's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I can also recommend Siobhan very highly. I was very distressed and suffering from Post-natal anxiety and depression when we first met. I have to admit that for a while, I wasn't sure if CBT was the right thing for me and wasn't sure the sessions were really helping but something kept me going back. I can now see, looking back over the time, that I am now more robust and have developed ways of thinking and strategies that really have changed my way of thinking. Siobhan is very professional and is excellent at homing in on key issues and pointing out where you might be making things hard for yourself with certain assumptions. I had a horrible relapse part way through our time together and the way she handled it was with great wisdom and warmth making me feel very safe and allowing me to bounce back very quickly. Thank you Siobhan! -

I've decided to set up a WhatsApp group for local women who have PND right now, think they may have it (even if you don't want to admit that just yet) or who have come through or are recovering from it. My son is 11 months old and I fell apart when he was 6 months old. One of the hardest things has been admitting how I feel and wondering how other mothers will view me. I'm much better than I was but know I have a long way to go.. I'm part of a First Babies WhatsApp group which I love and when there was a recent post about maternal mental health, I really wanted to keep the conversations going. Of course, Not everyone is experiencing mental health issues so the threads move on to other things! If you feel like you need support, a space to be accepted on the darkest of days or if you can offer support as a recovered mama, please send me your mobile number and what name you'd like to use and I'll set up the group

Hi Laura, I have a 7 month old baby boy and would be happy to meet and introduce you to some of the mums I know. Even though I have lived here for a while, I didn't get my act together on NCT so looking to meet more mums too! Lorna

My son is 6.5 months old and a lovely happy baby but I am exhausted after solely breastfeeding and broken sleep. We have tried unsuccessfully to get him to take a bottle since 6 weeks and just now running out of energy to express and keep trying. My husband has been trying mainly but we have thrown away so much milk as it just isn't happening. He has now started to bite when feeding so I know I need to do something! And just to be able to take some time away would be so welcome as I can't at the moment. What I really would love is for someone who knows babies to come and physically help me with this and other baby related stuff as I am getting quite down. Please PM if you think you can help.

We are researching stainless steel worktops and wonder if anyone has a recommendation for someone they have used. Thank you!
