We once had some wooden doors covered with old and recalcitrant (and probably toxic!) paint stripped by the secondhand/antique furniture shop that used to be on Lordship Lane but is no longer there, using a procedure of dipping into some solvent or acid. Does anyone know of a place that does this kind of thing? Thanks. --Phil

Can anyone recommend a good electrician/gas engineer in the area? We're having a dual fuel cooker installed, and need someone who can install a cooker electrical point and make sure that any gas connection is where it needs to be for the cooker to be connected up once it's delivered. Thanks.
