  1. The problem with the crossing will be the loss of the parking bay outside sommerfield. These cars will need to park somewhere and that will be in the sideroads in the vicinity of the supermarket. I live on Matham Grove and it is already difficult to park without additional cars unable to park outside the supermarket.

Secondly I believe that crossings are designed to limit road casualties. Have there been any incidents that justify an additional crossing at this point?

  2. am training at mo myself for marathon in october. The run i do is a loop but it's quite good as each loop is 6.5 miles . starting from goose green, then east dulwich grove, dulwich village, up college road to the top of the sydenham hill, then run down sydenham hill towards the horniman , along wood vale then down to peckham rye. its a bit better than doing loops of dulwich park but again thats good because its a 1 mile loop. hope that helps
  3. The junction is too narrow for a mini-roundabout. The problem arises I think out of strangers to the area not seeing the no-right-turn ahead signs before Matham Grove. I wonder if East Dulwich Grove should be one-way from Lordship Lane to the Matham Grove junction? I suppose the residents of Matham Grove would hate that though....

yes we would also , the number 37 bus and any lorry or large vechile would not be able to make it down matham grove as it has a sharp left turn.
