  1. Hi everyone, HNY to you all! Niko popped round to my flat yesterday to replace my shower which was leaking quite badly. He was very quick and even did a couple of other tiny jobs on the way. He doesn't overcharge and tries to fix the problem rather than overcharge by replacing the whole thing. He's also handy doing other jobs too. Niko is very tidy and respectful. His prices are very reasonable. Unlike some other plumbers who ghosted me after agreeing to come Niko was happy to turn up the next day if necessary. We had an original appointment that he couldn't make but I called again and he popped by within 20 minutes. I wouldn't hesitate in hiring Niko again.
  2. Hi there. Last week I hired Barry from Bell Carpentry 07961 896012 to fix an internal door frame and rehang an old door. Barry came to do the job today, and completed it quickly and to a very high standard. He charges reasonably, and is a nice fella as well! I hope he gets a bit of extra work from this post.
  3. Rang RM. 20 minutes to get through. They disputed my version of events saying the second redelivery was at ED post office for me to collect. They said either I or someone in my household had arranged it. Flat out lie. They refused to record my complaint.
  4. Hello everyone. I will share my tale of woe. I ordered a present on the 1st October for my husband for our wedding anniversary on the 10th October. Royal Msil attempted delivery on the 4th October but I was at work. I arranged a redelivery online for the following Saturday knowing I'd be in all day. It didn't show up. I complained, and RM Customer Services told me to arrange another redelivery. I arranged this which was due to arrived on the 20th October (yes, 10 days past my anniversary) and again it didn't show up. In between these redelivery days I was getting texts and emails from RM about collecting the parcel from Sylvester Road! On 21st October I went away on holiday and on the 27th, whilst away, I got two texts, and two emails saying they are sending the item back to the vendor, then at the end of that day came a final email saying RM had definitely sent it back and I was to contact the vendor about it. More than a bit annoyed, today I spend half an hour trying to message RM to complain -again - quoting all previous reference numbers of our mutual contact, and the website threw me out saying it couldn't process my enquiry. I will ring them tomorrow and tell them exactly what I think. My husband sends his parcels to his Dad's in SE17 now. I will be emailing the parcel vendor haggling for my money back. I am not going to risk ordering my Christmas presents online this year.
  5. I am looking for a recommended bathroom fitter. I need a whole new bathroom suite fitted in my small flat, including a new shower (electrics required), and shower screen. I also need the floor and wall re-tiled, and some woodwork to be undertaken to box in the pipes. If anyone knows someone reliable and reasonably priced, please reply. Thank you.
  6. Hello Forgive me, I am new on this forum. I bought my flat off plan 14 years ago and is ripe for renovation. I need some quotes for design and installation of a tiny kitchen, and refurbishment of my bathroom. I have heard Bell's are quite good, but can East Dulwich recommend at least two other tradesmen? Thank you.
