They've (the Tory Party) continued to put party before people & country. The whole thing is stupid, ill thought out and dividing the country. It feels like Darth Vader has invaded us.

Things you thought you could do when you were a kid

I jumped off the garage roof with a towel tied around my neck like a cape, arms out to make a wing. I'd taken the precaution of putting a mattress on the ground.... and for a second or two I flew Then splat, straight onto the floor and my knees hit me under the chin, so I near bit through my tongue. Did I learn my lesson? Nope, I went higher from the bathroom window and got that spangly stars tingling feeling in my head and almost passed out. I laid there, calling my Mum (who'd come into the bathroom by then) "I've broken my leg" to which she stuck her head out of the window, gave one dismissive shake of her hand and told me to wait, as she's washing her hair. After about 5 minutes, my leg miraculously mended and I'd got up and gone out to meet my mates. I gave up that particular stunt after that. But many other's featured after. It's amazing how those things prepare you for later life, in the risk over reward department. -

For such a soak, he's obviously way more switched to the bigger picture.

We went to Made of Dough last nite on Bellenden Road. The place was Beautiful (failed) Pizza Boy previously, Jolly fun it was too, all lively and just how a lively new Peckham pizza place should be Good music and drinks, and nice guys that actually own and run it, running it and 'owning' it too. The pizzas were hot and round and tasty, just like pizza should be. The drinks were wet and drinky like. It's nice ! http://www.standard.co.uk/goingout/restaurants/made-of-dough-launch-peckham-restaurant-with-a-cocktail-bar-and-halfprice-booze-a3534271.html

JoeLeg, you must take keano77 posts with the 'pinch of salt' they deserve. Natural Himalayan salt that is, grated onto the dish with a Japanese stainless steel grater of the highest quality. The salt and grater become the centrepiece of the dining table when placed in the accompanying desk stand made from untreated natural oak. Grater size 7.5 cm (height) x 5 cm (average width) x 0.1 cm (thickness) Table stand size 6.4cm (diameter) x 1.9 cm (thickness) manufactured out of FSC-certified oak wood. Salt rock irregular dimension, and vary between 40 to 60 grams

Ok, so how long before another election ?

Hanging on in there, but for how long?

Dianne's trouble is she's had it too good for too long, with a nice comfy seat. And who wouldn't enjoy that, along with sending her boy to private shool. Only now she gets a shot at the bigger stage, and she's unfit for the gig at hand. All the years of defending 'the party' and saying 'MANDATE' as many times as a human being can, have left her thin on policy matters, and here right now is when policy matters matter. She might have been able to guff her way through meetings with her own party, constituency, on a TV debate. But the nitty gritty is beyond her and she's been found out. Plus she's developed that slow-slow style of answer, which under pressure just comes across as time wasting. Lastly, she's irritating beyond measure, she knows it, and plays on it.

You could ask her to seal hers, (or do it for her) the one up above you. It all sound doable though, I hope you sort it.

I'm sure Fawlty Towers did a hung Parliament/Brexit episode Or am I imagining it?

Much like tinnitus, you'll not cure it, but silicon sealing up the gaps will help. You could close of the vent in the chimney. I reckon if you're sandwiched between flats then one of the 3 closed of wouldn't hurt. I feel for you tho.
