  9. This special cat litter box (see explanation below) hasn't only been used for a few days (cat going outside) and is now available for pick-up in SE5 8QJ. Price: £20 (worth £50) Dimensions: Total: 56 x 39 x 38.5 cm (L x W x H) Entrance: 21 x 20 cm (W x H) Height of lower tray: 12 - 25 cm Entrance height: 14cm Simple, safe and sustainable: The PeeWee EcoHȗs Hooded Litter Tray is environmentally friendly and offers you and your cat the highest level of comfort. The clever double-bottom design consists of two trays that are placed on top of each other. Around 90% of the urine passes through the sieve in the upper tray into the lower container. The rest is quickly absorbed by the natural wood litter and then decomposes into sawdust. This also falls through the holes in the upper tray as your cat paws and scrapes, while your cat's paws stay dry and clean. You can easily remove any of your cat's mess from the upper tray with the litter scoop included in the set. Otherwise, thanks to the well thought-out system, you only have to clean the soiled sawdust out of the lower tray when cleaning your cat's tray. The PeeWee Wood Pellets are particularly economical, completely biodegradable and are highly absorbent. Together with the activated charcoal filter integrated in the lid, they ensure that no unpleasant odours will linger in your home. As the pellets are dust-free and absorb liquid extremely quickly, your cat won't drag any dirt through your house.
  10. After being called yesterday (Sunday am) by my tenants for a potential plumbing emergency related to a washing machine installation i.e if no one came within the hour it could have become a real disaster, I quickly looked through E.D forum for plumber recommendation and came across Aria. I called him from Germany and he kindly agreed to go, on good faith as I was going to pick up the bill not my tenant, within an amazing short timeframe about 30mn and managed to save the day. So I still have happy tenants and thankfully no flood to report so many thanks to Aria for his helpfulness, trust and professionalism. Do call him if you need a good and reliable plumber.
  11. Thank you Fuchsia and Echo, I will give it a try!
  12. Hello everyone, Reading through some old posts, was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on McAlpine Ballet classes as I had never heard of it before? Is it just for fun or following a method/progession which us what I am keen on. Many thanks
  13. Hello, Father Xmas is a gread idea!!! Did it last year with my daughter who was 2 1/2 then - she was really attached to her dummy but told her about 2 weeks before that as she now was a big girl if she wanted Father Xmas to bring her presents she would need to give her dummy before that. It did help that there was an upcoming event where I knew the Father Xmas who would be there and thus we could give him our little package...I only talked to her about 2 weeks before and she gave the dummy away... straight after in the car she did ask me for her dummy.. but I told her we now had given hit to Santa as she was a big girl so that she would get her presents and she was fine. Planning on doing that with my other daughter next Xmas... Good luck with it!

  15. Hello cloudnine, Well I am sure Lyndhurst is good and lots of friends are telling me so. However, I am a bit concerned with the big classes, the fact that at lunchtime all years are mixed up together and the fact that they are planning lots of building work for the upcoming 6 years. I also think, although I am in no way an educational expert, that maybe all the schools which are very popular and have to extend their classes can only do so for a certain time without the existing children in it suffering a bit. Don't think it will really go downhill though. Again, many acquaintances have made the choice of Lyndhurst recently and are really happy with it. So don't change your mind because of me!
  16. Hello everyone, Am new to this! Thought I wanted to get feedback from any of you who are either currently looking at choosing a primary school for 2010 or made the choice recently and know your views on it. Right now, I am considering a serious leap of faith into Bessemer Grange School as I like the fact the classes are smaller (for now), they will have a brand new building for reception over another school, Lyndhurst with a better ofsted and closer to me but which might suffer from its popularity in the future: am I mad to even think about it? is going to a school in your neighbourhood better? Thanks for your replies!
