Practice Manager hasn’t bothered to reply to my complaint letter sent on 23 February. I raised this with Helen Hayes who has contacted the NHS Integrated Care Board. She has had similar complaints from a number of constituents so it’s worth writing to her.

I sent a formal complaint to the practice manager on 23 February. They haven’t bothered to reply or even acknowledge. I have forwarded to Helen Hayes MP.

I had the self-same experience with TJ over the past 12 days with viral gastroenteritis which resolved but morphed into bronchitis/asthma (viruses invariably trigger asthma attacks with me). AskmyGP doesn't work, the emergency phone line takes forever to be answered and then you are told there are no appointments that day and the only option is to start the Kafkaesque Askmy GP routine at 8am the next day or call 111. (if you're stupid enough to hit 1 to request a call back don't expect anything of the kind. I tried on 2 separate days and no-one bothered to call back). On 21 Feb I tried for the last time to get an appointment via AskmyGP. It opened at 8am and I started to fill in the form only for it to close 30 seconds later saying there were no more appointments. This was before 8.01am. I then called 306 and they picked up promptly. I asked if I could be seen that day if I filled in the online transfer and they said they would try. I was lucky enough to see a very nice GP later that day and was given the medication I need. I've left a review on the NHS website and made a complaint to the Practice Manager which I may now send to Helen Hayes. It seems to me a total abrogation of their duty of care to their patients.

Volcano Coffeeworks (cafe in West Norwood but can be found all around and here -https://volcanocoffeeworks.com) roast the freshest and best tasting beans I've ever found. From a variety of single origin beans to some fantastic blends - eg Firehouse is sublime for both filter and espresso. The last Monmouth beans I bought locally were stale - always check the roasting date.

Had my first jab at TJ on 16 Feb and they were very clear that I'd receive a text message about booking the 2nd jab in about 11 weeks time. But to contact them if I don't. I wouldn't start worrying about it yet.

Visited on Sunday afternoon so likely to be fairly busy and it was. I liked the old co-op. Maybe I'd got used to its foibles - lots of empty space at the front, narrow and cramped aisles from 1/3 of the way back - didn't seem to have quite a few of the items I wanted (which they used to have) tho it's possible I couldn't find them - the fast and efficient self-service tills have now gone and been replaced with the frustrating weight-sensitive ones they have in the M&S I prefer the old co-op. This is probably a good thing as I'll now use it infrequently like I do M&S and rely more on SMBS and AJ Farmer, which can only be a good thing.

Nah, On Matham Grove there is increased vehicle traffic cutting through to travel south on LL but also increased bicycle (and occasional scooter) traffic, often against the one way direction, many of whom are parents and kids travelling to the nursery on the corner. I do hope it is closed to through vehicle traffic asap not only to encourage more to travel through by bike but also before there is a collision of the two, sadly looking increasingly likely.

Thanks, yes I've just discovered that. Wish I'd known before burning through the first 5 to various workmen. 5 hour permits are better value and the price doesn't go up when you reorder.

Definitely ?48.40 for 1 day permits. Maybe because I already bought a book of 10 and the price doubles every time you buy some more? Who knows...

Cost of 10 x 1 day permits has suddenly increased from ?26.90 to ?48.40. Wish I'd bought more last week

I was empathising with residents East of LL who you claim are now experiencing their streets suffocated with cars and don't have a CPZ to alleviate the problem.
