Ambulance and Police outside Tessa Jowell Centre
Mrs C replied to Balance102's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
@kbabes - I know it was just a flippant remark, but someone was in a very bad way and were being shielded by sheets either side, presumably to give them and the paramedics some privacy. I hope they are going to be OK. -
The absolutely lovely Kam has just wallpapered my daughter’s room. He’s polite, friendly and does what he says he will do. He was a delight to have round and I’m so, so pleased with the end result (and that he did it in my timeframe!). Only good things to say about him! thank you Kam. A little lady is going to be over the moon!! you can catch him on: 07949 507412

Hello, Is anyone aware of why LL was closed? I saw multiple ambulances near Goose Green and hoping everyone is OK.

Hello, Please can I have your recommendations for a wonderfully engaging children’s entertainer for a 4year olds birthday party? Thank you!

Hello, Can anyone recommend a gardening service they've used please? We are looking to returf our [tiny!] patch of lawn, and then need some general tidy up/maintenance on the planting bed surrounding it. Any recommendations gratefully received! Thanks.

Haven't needed to ask him for help for a while, but have previously used Gary and definitely recommend!

Hi all, My husband and I went to Tom's supper club this weekend and I would THOROUGHLY recommend! So many delicious courses. All so yum and interesting. Lovely guy and such a fun, well priced, experience. Would whole heartedly recommend nabbing a ticket!

Has anyone received their garden/brown bin sticker?
Mrs C replied to Mrs C's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Yup, after March and a new tax year, the subscription fee will likely rise as the ?25 was essentially an ?intro offer?. Those who subscribe will get a sticker for their brown bin so their garden waste is collected. Those without a sticker will have their brown bin taken away I believe. Food can no longer go in the big garden brown bin and so if you want, you can request a smaller food caddy free of charge. -

Thanks 73jem, and Robbie - I would be surprised if the stickers are unique. I?ll be very interested to see how it all plays out! -
Thanks both.

Hello, Our car is due a major service and MOT soon. I?ve seen good things said about both Turners on Barry Road and Dell Autos on Hansler Road. Anyone have any other recommendations or reasons to potentially avoid one of the above? Thanks!

Saied is by far my best "find" on this forum! After reading all of the positive reviews, I contacted him to do a garden tidy up. He came to talk me through everything and then booked in a date. He's punctual, tidy, SO lovely, has great ideas and is extremely knowledgable. Richard and he cleared out all of the dead and got the garden prepped. They then went shopping for all of the necessaries and planted everything up - consulting with me throughout the whole process. He's asked me to keep him informed of how we are getting on and to call on him if we need anything. He really is so, so helpful and lovely - a true gem and I'm so pleased we have met him. Looking forward to working with him for many years.

Hi all, Gemma Tucker, the founder of Balance interior design, has been helping me recently turn our study into a nursery and upgrade our toddler's bedroom. Gemma is wonderful to work with. Very professional, knows her stuff, has impeccable taste and can turn a vision into reality. She does lots of different types of projects, but with 2 young children herself, she knew what were key things to think about it us. I'd definitely recommend getting in touch with her if you are looking for some help with any projects. Her contact is: [email protected].
