  1. Today (Saturday 2nd June)from 2pm. Set in beautiful secret private grounds adjacent to Dulwich Park. Southwark Sports Bowls & Social Club holds it annual mad shindig! Come and join in, bring the family or a picnic or both. We have tuition, equipment, cheap bar (Asahi Superdry Lager & Thatchers Gold Cider ?3.50 a pint) we have music, we have sun & 24?. In the evening we have a couple of well known local Djs. Huge sound system and lights. Let?s party..... Dulwich Jam is a collection of local musicians, some seriously good session musicians, some enthusiastic amateurs and a few well known professionals. Undoubtedly the friendliest get together on the circuit and completely different to other open mic nights because we have a full house band who encourage all levels, all genres and all instruments to get involved. The regular musicians have no egos and just want to entertain and encourage others. Everyone gives their services for free including venue and bar staff to help a great community get together, a free evening listening to great music, a cheap bar and Teresa's famous Veggie Chilli. Come along once and you'll be hooked!   5. 6 bands, including supergroup with legendary U.S.Blues/Rock artist Marcus Malone, local hero Gary Sanford (Aztec Camera,Bryan Adams etc) team up with hot new duo Lethbridge Owen to play a one off gig tonight in aid of Kidney Research. ED Band, The Others, The New Immigrants, John McClean & Clan, Zonderlings join them on the bill. at Southwark Sports & Social Club 37, Dulwich Common SE21 7EU. That's just up the road from the old Grove Tavern/Harvester. Doors 7:30 ?5 on the door All pints ?3.50!!
  6. Tonight's the night, Doors 7.20, first act 7.45, bar open 'till midnight. If you want to play or spotlight your act/band ask for Davide (pronounced Dav-eed)and register early. We get very busy. You are more than welcome to come and just enjoy the amazing talent and cheap bar! Thanks.
  7. If you haven't yet experienced the Jam, come and see what all the fuss is about. On the first Wednesday of every month we gather together some of London's top session musicians, some talented hobbyists and a few famous faces. It's basically a club for musicians but whether you play or not feel free to drop by, take advantage of the cheap bar and soak up some truly remarkable music. Come once and you'll be a regular for life, guaranteed! From 8-10pm we showcase acts, solo artists, bands and collaborations from 10-midnight we shake things up and mix and match different musicians and instruments to achieve some awesome music. If you or your band would like to perform a couple of songs turn up at 7:30 and we'll add you to the roster. See you at the bar.   9. Tomorrow sees our last Jam of the year, musically 2016 was a sad year with the passing of so many great artists. We are going to celebrate the end of this year and those we lost with our big Xmas bash. If you are a regular Jammer or a newbie come and join us for a unique music experience. A co-operative of 60 professional musicians get together to entertwine genres and styles with truly amazing results. They are also dedicated to helping bring on aspiring musicians. Entry is FREE, the bar is cheap and the vibe super friendly. I thought I'd share a few comments that have been directed at us this year, that made me smile.   10. Davide from the Dulwich Jam is fundraising for a new building for the DKH kids Adventure Playground. It's a wonderful cause and he has lined up some top acts and local talent for a night of musical shenanigans. Free entry, collection taken.
