Hi we're looking for someone to drop our 4 yr old off at school from September (Dulwich village infants) and ideally pick up from after school club. We'd need this Mon - Friday except Friday pick-up but could flex days if this wouldn't be possible to do every day (e.g Mon, weds, thurs). Hours would be 7.30-9am, 6-7 at most but we can be flexible

Hi I'm looking for wrap around childcare for up to 5 days (can be flexible but definitely need 3 days ) a week from September. Ideally to help with pick up and drop off my 4 year old to school in Dulwich village and my 2 year old at nursery near goose green. We can be flexible on weekly hours if a min is needed. Roger and his son Elliot have continued to support me in my endeavour to get rid of mice! All year Roger has been on hand, and responded within minutes, to my panicked texts and queries. He continues to give reassurance and visit to inspect and lay traps - all as part of his initial fee - giving me peace of mind the problem will be supported by him and his son. I can't thank you enough Roger for continuing to come to my rescue!

If you're looking for a plumber Aria and his team are fantastic- I have used them twice for emergencies - today the service was exceptional - Aria took my call on the first ring and diverted his route within 1hr of me calling to help with an emergency (burst shower). Within 30mins they had solved the problem, had parts to fix for a temporary solution so we could have water still... abs provided a long term solution quickly which they will come back to complete. Honestly was relieved and shocked at how quickly they came to my rescue, solved and fixed the issue to allow us still to have water today. His number is below for those looking for plumbing services. A quick post to say recent fantastic service by Critter Solutions for mice control. Another recommendation for K Fisher - she helped me via phone (no charge) in the initial weeks of breastfeeding having had challenges prieucibg enough milk due to past surgery. She by far had the most knowledge and sense than anyone I spoke to and knows alit more than midwives etc based on her years of experience- especially for women who had had proper breast surgery and the impact on breast feeding. She answered calls and texts on the day and I?m so grateful for her support esp given her phone service was free.

Franks gutter services are posting flyers through doors in the Peckham Rye and East Dulwich area. The small flyer advertises that they are doing work locally to clean gutters starting from ?40. However DO NOT use this man/company. Not only did they not turn up to initial appointments but upon cleaning our gutters (2 men - one Frank), thinking I was not in, then proceeded to break our roof tiles (when I was standing beneath the area they were damaging) and send pictures to my husband saying we needed them fixing, which they would be happy to do. They are con men who are looking for a fast buck even if it means vandalising your property to create work. I've since reported them to trading standards and filed a crime report. The damage has left us with a leaking ceiling in our bedroom and costly repairs to fix the roof and redecorate the bedroom. After searching online and seeking recommendations from the East Dulwich Forum we have just had a new front door and frame bespoke made by crown joinery (3 tyrrell road, crown-joinery.co.uk). The door and service was amazing. I know the word bespoke means ??? but Alex and his team are experts, affordable (prices were competitive and cheaper that the big companies) and worth the money. I could bespoke everything from the door style, colour, furniture and even the finishing touches. Alex and his team went over and beyond not only in making the door but also fitting it - as our house is old and thus small adaptations had to be made on fitting as well as decorator work due to the house moving shape over he years. One particular place that stood out was our local shop Casa on Bellenden Road. Casa sells amazing modern and old/Victorian fireplaces, doors, stoves, reclaimed cast iron radiators and an assortment of accessories (door handles, mirrors etc). If the fixtures themselves aren?t enough to entice you into the shop, the service should be - it is second to none - Matt the owner is personal and extremely helpful - he went over and beyond to help us source reclaimed marble fireplaces and cast iron radiators (which we had sprayed to colours to match our home) and any other extras we needed. even if he didn?t have them he knew someone who could help. He worked with us to our budget and unlike other shops of a similar nature didn?t try to rip us off or make the extra buck through fitting and accessories. We now down bother looking around as Matt offers competitive prices and more importantly is trust worthy - so we've since been back to see if he can help source door knobs and doors.... Thus if you want a local and friendly service for any of the above house hold fixtures I really recommend popping down to Casa....even if its to see what Matt has reclaimed from his recent hunts!
