It was both very good quality, and well priced. This was the restaurant I was most looking forward to revisiting. It's good that Moxons is remaining and I hope that the cafe deli succeeds but I will certainly regret the loss of Next Door. The only really good fish restaurant in the neighbourhood.

In addition to great breakfasts, we went to the French Cafe in the evening last week and had the most delicious food. A short menu but a perfectly cooked Tarragon Chicken and equally good Boeuf Bourguignon. It felt like eating French home cooked food with no pretensions. It's off the beaten track compared with Lordship Lane restaurants but very well worth seeking out on Fridays and Saturdays only at the moment for evening meals, though I gather that Thursday may soon be added. Highly recommended.
